A mindful momentā¦.mindfulness is not about relaxation, controlling emotions or thoughts or a strategy pulled out in difficult situations. It may result in the above, but itās more. It is a way of BEING with focused attention on the present without judgement and with acceptance of all that is, moment to moment. So how do you do this? By becoming the observer, by noticingā¦by developing awarenessā¦allowingā¦balancing the past, present and future and with practice. I often get asked what I doā¦.I create safety and trust within your autonomic nervous system to empower you to move through life knowing who you truly are. The mechanisms are releasing body stored emotions by developing mind-body connection through meditation therapy, trauma therapy, yoga, meditation and mindfulness. Rather than being strategies, regulating your nervous system dynamically becomes your way through life.
What if Life was as simple as establishing and maintaining points of connection? Connection is the element within our psyche that yearns when itās not met and hides in shadow feelings of loneliness, sadness, separateness and lack. When established however the heart sings and soul fills with sense of purpose, gratitude and joy. Itās free and itās magicā¦.where do you find your connection points? Is it in nature, with animals, creative expression, movement, singing, talking, meeting, making, immersingā¦? The power of contentment lies in your connection to Self, Other and the World. Take the stepā¦make the actionā¦create your enjoyment of this amazing life through your connection with it.
To befriend yourself is to welcome ALL of your inner States, not just the perceived higher States. This is what āthere is nothing wrong with youā means. Warmth and compassion enable unconditional friendliness which ultimately leads to self love and acceptance. Radical Acceptance by Tara Brach is an exceptional read to delve into this concept more. Holistic Counselling is based on this concept of noticing, naming and making room for it all. When you cultivate an inner friendship based on radical acceptance your life will be enriched.
Life is a polarity, meaning we know hot because we know cold. We know love because we know grief. As such our emotions can take us from high to low causing perception shifts and emotional rides. A balancing shift can be as simple as Observe, Ground and Breathe. Try it and see how centered you feel. It may just be the pause you need to take value based action.

Shifting my perspective has allowed me to meet challenges this monthā¦things havenāt been going to āmy planā but like the pandanus blocking the sun it could also be seen as shading me from the full spectrum of the sunā¦while I may be faced with challenges perhaps the learning is my path forward. My mantra has beenā¦noticeā¦witnessā¦.chooseā¦repeat. My Masters in Holistic counselling offers me so many personal insights, perhaps there is a choice point I can help you withā¦..
The center of this cloud formation as the sun rose reminded me of the calm that exists at our heart when we can notice, raise our awareness and reflectā¦3 powerful tools that lead to wisdom and change š«

In meditation I asked āwhat is it I need to know for my inner growth, leading me to my heart desireāsā. In response I saw through the eyes of nature in the shape of this glorious she-oaks branches. Patience whispered back. Patience to not miss the moment in rush of the goal. Patience to allow life to unfold and be there to notice. What does Patience mean to you? How is life showing you exactly what you need to know for your inner growth? Namaste.
A daily ritual connects you to the present and enable space to listen to the guidance life is showing you. For me, part of my ritual includes guidance cardsā¦my guidance enables me to reflect on my lifeās lessons, connect to my purpose and move forward with acceptance which strengthens my self love. This message creates space for me to integrate and move forward with inspired action led by my heart.
Self Love holds a vibration so strong, the Universe canāt help but listen and return frequency - as within, as without. For Valentineās Day Iām offering space to cultivate and expand the vibration of love for self which evolves to love for others. DM me for bookings šš«
My offering of holistic counselling holds the capacity for you to be at ease with yourself, to radically accept yourself and embrace life in the moment of now. Then be present for when the transformations happen. My supportive practices of yoga and meditation assist in connecting you to your body and sense of Self.
