Sometimes the things we want most in life require the most work. Always remember that everyone has their ups and downs. It’s ok to cry, get angry, frustrated and it’s even ok to quit for a few minutes but don’t let this consume you! You have made it so far, you’re stronger than the set backs that life throws at you. Fitness4Life is a family run business based in Canberra, Australia.
For people living in Canberra, we offer face to face training where we come to you at the comfort of your own home. We provide all the equipment so all you need to do is be ready to sweat.
We also offer online personal training through our app. The app is so advanced that we can train anyone in the world with a program specifically designed for each individual which includes video examples. It’s like having a PT standing next to you guiding you through your workout.
We do work with anyone of any age, gender, experience and abilities and we ensure our training is tailored to each individual.
We also specalise in training women over 40.
How very true! The older we get, the more important it is that we train. My 3 core elements that I focus on when training are strength training, cardio training and balance + mobility. With these combined, you are not only working out the components of your body that you can see but you are also working out your internal organs and structure including lungs and heart plus you are also keeping/making your bones stronger!

This is my good friend Eddy! Eddy is nothing less than an inspirational warrior! As you can see Eddy is wheelchair bound and requires a carer 24/7 however you will see Eddy in the gym nearly every day, working her backside off to get stronger.
Due to her hard work and determination, she is now able to stand up from her chair on her own and has become stronger in her overall body.
(Suzanne my partner) and I absolutely adore and admire Eddy and find her courage, grit, determination and strength nothing short of inspirational.
She has been through so much but doesn’t complain, she still loves with a full and open heart and pushes herself everyday to surpass her boundaries.
For this reason, we decided to make a T-Shirt for Eddy so that she can wear it with pride. Look at the size of that smile when Eddy put on her T-Shirt!
The T-Shirt reads…”Do Not Mistake This Chair For Weakness For I Am The Strongest Warrior You Will Ever See”.

Hello world, this is me! Danielle who owns Fitness 4 Life. I wanted to put a photo up of me so that people out there can see that I am a regular person (I’m no supermodel or bodybuilder) but I do know my stuff! In life we all have our own personal challenges. Mine is losing weight after a severe knee injury and nearly having my leg amputated. I’m saying this because I want you to see me as a human who has also had life struggles. My whole life though has been fitness orientated so I really do know what I’m talking about. I’m not perfect, none of us are but I am working to being as perfect as I can possibly be. It can be hard to find a trainer who you gel with and can relate to you and your needs. This is especially true as we get older and the rest of the world looks to be getting younger.

The most common, crippling diseases of aging that lead to loss of quality of life include diabetes, hypertension, heart failure, and dementia, not to mention loss of muscle and bone density resulting in the likelihood of increased injuries occurring.
