Steve Knight Builders After moving to Airlie Beach from Melbourne in 1989 Steve commenced work with local builders before forming his own company in 1992.
Since then he has dedicated himself to providing great personalised service & quality workmanship in a stress free build of your home. Over the past 22 years he has built a wide variety of homes from pole homes on sloping sites to bespoke architectural homes reflecting individual ideas. Steve is a very diverse builder, happy to take on challenges both in the site & building style / medium.

The big win on the weekend has prompted me to post all the photos of The Lighthouse. Special thanks to Brooke Miles Photography for her patience in doing a fantastic job of these photos as despite the weather not cooperating, we got there in the end. It was a massive honour to be recognised at the Queensland Master Builders Awards last night. Not only did we win our category but the entry went on to win House of the Year for the Mackay Whitsunday region. Big shout out to Tory Pendrey for his unstinting work ethic. Also to Blake and Levi Farmer and our skilled team of subcontractors. This is a great reward for all the hard work that went into this project.
Thank you also to the clients for having faith in the company to achieve their vision as designed by Louis Jackson.
