Next up in our staff introductions for our Senior Faculty is our Ballet Idol Extraordinaire Miss Eve 🩰

Joining our team this year, Miss Eve brings an abundance of ballet knowledge and expertise to the studio specialising in ballet technique and Pointè training. She currently teaches our Senior and Intermediate Ballet classes. Alongside these classes she also runs adult classes from her business Glow Dance Co. on Wednesday nights 🪩

Term 3 starts back this coming Wednesday, July 10! First up is tap with the amazing Alyson who will guide us on the barre and in the centre, then new ballet exercises and a fierce cabaret / musical theatre piece (Hello there Roxanne) in Jazz with Eve 💃 ⭐️ all welcome!

and our Junior commercial jazz dancers were first up on Sunday morning. Seeing how hard these girls worked and the way they flourished with Rachel’s encouragement was inspiring 😍👏 well done dancers and thanks so much Rachel! 📸 by the wonderful

Meet Hannah & Jake 🤩 These two have been such a pleasure to work with on their first dance for their upcoming wedding 💛

She will be teaching 4 workshops and has a wealth of knowledge and experience to share, you do not want to miss this! Reminder ‼️ Next Wednesday, tap will still be on ✅ but ballet and jazz will be cancelled as I am going away for work. Classes will be back to normal the following week - 13th March.

Farewell to this superstar ⭐️ Sophie has danced every Wednesday with us since January 2022, doing over 100 classes & making us smile in every one 😍 All the best on your new and exciting uni adventure, Soph. Who am I going to look to when we all forget the choreo now?!? We will miss you! You’re always welcome here 🥰💛

Thank you for a WONDERFUL first night back at dance yesterday. It was so nice to see some familiar and new faces showing up to dance the night away (despite the heat hehe).

We are so lucky to have the lovely Alyson to guide us through tap with her wisdom! 😍

A reminder that for your convenience our classes are casual meaning you are not obliged to sign up for set classes and can turn up as often as you’d like. It is recommended to come each week if you’d like to continue to build your skills, confidence and fitness, and hang with an incredible group of ladies.

We do work in school terms with exercises and a dance for ballet and rotate jazz dances every 2-3 weeks to keep things fresh!

🕺 Dance starts back today @ the OLHC Hall on Middle St (opposite the medical centre).

6:15pm - 7pm: Open Ballet 17+ (beginner to advanced welcome)
7-7:45pm: Open Commercial Jazz 17+ (beginner to advanced welcome)

Eve will be at the studio from 5:45 to answer any questions or welcome you to Glow. Enrolment forms, class passes and all payment forms available (will have limited change for cash)

Remember, wear something you’re comfortable to move in and bring a towel/water bottle because it’s another warm one today!

To make it easier to come & dance when it suits you, grab a Glow Class pass 🤩10 classes for $85 (valid 6 months) or 20 classes for $150 (valid 1 yr). Classes carry over from 2023 for anyone who purchased one last year. Bank transfer, EFTPOS or cash accepted 💛 Cards will be distributed in person from Wednesday!

This coming Wednesday - we’re back! 😍💛 Jazz for the first 2 weeks will be a girly routine to a classic! Sneakers or low heels would suit this dance

Okay, so you’re about to head on down to a class next WEDNESDAY, but you’re wondering what to wear?!

Never fear. We do not have a set uniform but encourage you to wear the following so that you are comfortable and safe throughout class…

👕 CLOTHING: For all classes we encourage you to wear something you can move easily in and is comfortable. A example of a perfect combination would be leggings/tights and a t shirt or singlet.

👞 SHOES (you do not need to buy any specialty shoes however for your own comfort you may choose to purchase your own dance shoes)

👟TAP: Tap shoes (with a low or medium heel, lace up or straps), light weight joggers/sneakers or jazz shoes

🩰 BALLET: canvas or leather ballet flats, socks or pointe shoes (experienced dancers only). Barefeet is NOT recommended for safety reasons

👟JAZZ: ballet shoes, socks or lightweight joggers/sneakers. Some weeks you may be asked to bring heels for certain dances, this choice is up to you!

Dancewearby Lana is a dancewear store in Toowoomba and has everything you could ever need for dance! You can also shop online there.

Congratulations to Glow Dance Co. student, Danica, who recently received excellent results for her Intermediate Ballet exam. She worked tirelessly in 2023 to prepare for this RAD exam and we are so proud of her efforts. Danica will continue to dance in Brisbane alongside her university studies this year and we wish her all the best for 2024 😍👏 There’s always a spot for you at the barre when you come home, Danica 💛 A huge thank you to for supporting Danica on her exam day!

Miss Eve joined our XDA family this year to teach Intermediate and Senior Ballet!
She also operates through her newly established studio Glow Dance Co. offering a multitude of 17+ classes/Adult classes including Wedding Dances! So definitely head over to her page and give it some love.

I’m Eve and I’ve been obsessed with dance ever since I can remember. We have a wonderful community of people embracing dance in Chinchilla, and this is a place where you can keep up or find out more information. I’m fully qualified in dance (QUT) and ballet (RAD) teaching and my aim is to build your confidence and empower you safely through movement.
