cheap, honest phones, no bu****it. screen replacements: $50 + parts. https://www.phonesinc.com.au

Photos from phonesinc's post 31/07/2023

It's been a quiet weekend so I don't think any records will be broken tonight. But stranger things have happened.

All of my phones come from asset auctions who flog off major retailers unsellable stock. Open boxes, returns, faulty units, damaged unit, phones althat have their entire insides swapped out with international parts. It's fun. But this one is 100% legit.

Galaxy S21 Plus, *256*GB storage, 8GB RAM. Phantom Violet (has gold around the edges and the lens, good colour) Network unlocked, Unbranded Australian firmware, just finished the latest update to Android 13 July 2023.

Unused display model. The sides are rear cover of the phone are pristine, but the screen does have some light scratches. Haven't checked the charge cycles yet but it'll be low like the rest of them from this lot.

Comes with brand new USB C to C cable. Choice of Genuine Samsung or braided third party.

$480. Firm.

These are currently the cheapest S22 Ultra 512GB (the biggest bois) models available from retailers. And they're refurbished....refurbished phones from these kind of stores are all sourced from the same company and they use the parts that I would never bother with to save a few cents.

How about a brand new, opened box one coming the end of this week? Not refurbished, not dicked around with, box was opened for a customer, customer changed their mind, store sat it aside for their yearly asset auction after writing it off. Seems wasteful but works for you and me though right?

The $1300 range seems nice and round. Wasn't cheap to acquire so won't be cheap to sell but people wanted them and there's just enough profit there to make it worth it, so fight it out amongst yourselves please.

I will be placing an order with my distributor over the weekend for delivery on Tuesday. Most screen replacements or other straight swaps for bigger parts are $50 labour + parts, depending on the age of the phone I'd recommend doing the battery at the same time while it's open, extra $10 labour and batteries generally aren't very expensive. Inbox me and I will quote you as soon as possible.

Most makes and models have options for screens:

-Cheapest: Aftermarket, low quality LCD with poor colour, non "gorilla" glass. They are fragile and will likely smash after you drop it.

-Middle of the road: Aftermarket, decent quality LCD, nice colour, good quality glass. Very close to the genuine article.

-Refurbished: Slightly more expensive than the best aftermarket available. Uses a genuine LCD and assembly where only the glass panel was damaged and it's been professionally replaced. No different to an original part other than price.

-Genuine: Best quality everything. Same as what the phone came with. Price is reflective.

Generally I only deal with genuine Samsung Service Pack assemblies which are the entire front panel of the phone, minus the guts and the rear glass. However there are aftermarket models available. I'd advise against them - I purchased one for an A71, it arrived damaged. They sent me another one and the phone lasted a day before getting another crack in it - trash.

I do not do iPhone rear glass - I don't have $5000 to spend on a laser to melt glue to fix phones I don't like (hehe) - see EzyFix in Moe for rear glass.

Hit me up.

~ ~ SOLD ~ ~

Let's see how quickly this one sells and try to beat yesterday's personal best of just over an hour and a half....after midnight.

Galaxy S21 Plus, 128GB storage, 8GB RAM. Phantom Silver. Network unlocked, Unbranded Australian firmware, just finished the latest update to Android 13 July 2023.

Unused display model. The only.imperfection I can see is some incredibly light surface scratches on the glass. Maybe a handful and I cannot capture them in a photo, I am pedantic about descriptions of conditions of phones - you may not even notice them. Perfect condition otherwise, not a scratch on it.

Phone still has the protective plastic strips around the outer chrome section of the case. That's how new it is.

Comes with brand new USB C to C cable. Choice of Genuine Samsung or braided third party.

$475. Firm.

Unused display model. The only.imperfection I can see is around the SIM card hole, and if I've got a spare I'll swap the tray out with a new one. Perfect condition otherwise, not a scratch on it.

This is not a paid promotion, because if it was I wouldn't be unboxing it on my bed. Xiaomi Wowstick 1F+. 69 (heh) bits with electronics in mind. Rechargeable and has a work light. As well as a magnetic pad to hold your screws and other bits and pieces.

No more using my wrists like a sucker.

The cheap ones never hang around real long but if you're interested and miss out - I can get more.

Samsung Galaxy S21 Plus 128GB Dual Sim. - Phantom Silver - I have taken a dump of the data which is in the last photo of the listing that shows the phone has been on the charger a total of 76 times ever since it left the factory.

eBay price: $399.99
$399.99 outside of eBay,every now and then eBay gives me a listing with no fees and this is it.

It was an ex-demonstration model from major Australian retailer, was never left on display for public to access. However while it basically still on the showroom floor, the front glass does have some light surface scratches on it I have photographed as clearly as possible. Otherwise the rest of the phone is very pretty and clean.

-8GB RAM

-128 GB Storage

-Dual SIM (2x Physical Card Slots, also accepts eSIM instead)

-01 July 2023 Android 13 update installed as it has just been released. The phone runs the unbranded version of Samsung's Android which means no Telstra or Optus bloatware, it will receive updates over the internet for the life of Samsung's support of the phone so another 3 years or so

Other than the imperfections on the screen it's a rock solid phone. The rear and the sides of the phone look brand new like the rest of the phone should have by the store that was responsible for them. Price is reflective of the condition. It's still a grade B phone but only just, and replacing the entire screen because it was scratched would have been throwing more money at the same profit.

Comes with brand new genuine Samsung USB Charging cable.

People seem to be more interested in this price range of phone these days, so the Galaxy S21 and equivalent A series are readily available if people would rather pay rent than pay a phone bill: I got chu.

Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra 256GB Dual Sim. - Mystic Black

eBay pricing: $580
Cash: $530
Bank Transfer or Square/Card: $530, but you have to sit there and wait for me to type you out a receipt and put it on the books.
Afterpay: Do it through eBay.

-4G Model. Not the 5.

Other than the imperfections on the screen it's a rock solid phone. I owned one of these for about a year and the recording quality in videos was outstanding, and the new range of Galaxy Phones are only fractionally better than the camera in this.

If this were in perfect condition and in its original box with accessories the price would be a lot higher than I have it listed for. I think it is fair a phone that is practically brand new just with a flaw.

Comes with S Pen and brand new genuine Samsung USB Charging cable.

Fake / Clone / Counterfeit Samsung S23 Ultra Phones - Don't get caught out. 02/07/2023

FAKE PHONE WARNING.

https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/fake-clone-counterfeit-samsung-s23-ultra-phones-dont-get-caught-out.4586297/

I was scrolling through Marketplace this afternoon looking for a bargain on someone's misery: a smashed S23 Ultra. And HOLY S**T. There are SOI MANY fakes on there, and the price is appealing.

First off, Samsung phone boxes do not come sealed in plastic wrap, and the S23 series does not come sealed with the black stickers that break when you try to peel them off - they have been replaced by the glued rip tabs at the top and bottom of the box like the Apple stuff.

I saw some today with a combination of all the stickers, a "24" in a diamond, But seldom do they show you the sticker on the bottom of the box that would have the serial or the IMEI. You'll also notice that the boxes are terrible quality and they're often that horrible green model - and they all come with free earbuds...

There's a few kinds of fakes:

1) Grey imported Indian models, mostly the same device however there are some regional differences in software which cause issues. These are rare because the reward for effort is low. Flash phone, clean, package, put new stickers on (yes, they're on AliExpress and everywhere else - you could return an iPhone 6 in an iPhone 14 box and demand a refund if you were dishonest).

2) The replicas. They look very similar, if not exactly the same - but they run inferior hardware. Sh*tty camera sensors, Mediatek chips, poor quality displays. They'll work fine, and you'd probably be happy if you paid the $60 it's worth and it got an Android update ever. Have a couple of GB of RAM and enough storage for a goo meme sesh. Garbage.

3) The flat out fakes, or counterfeit, the reproductions. People have reported receiving a phone believing it to be legitimate as it looked right, performed right, the serial number registered and the IMEI? number was registered on the network - then suddenly their phone is a paperweight, fake, and the actual owner of the serial number and hardware IDs got what was rightfully his back.

If it's too cheap to be true, it probably is. Especially if it's a brand new product. If you are in a position and are looking to buy one, buy one from a department store or an authorized Samsung dealer. If you happen upon one in a market and have the cash on the countrer and they still won't open the box for you to inspect it, call the cops.

It's unfortunately not limited to new phones at the moment either. Jump on eBay and look up Galaxy S10 or S10+ Sealed, You will find an impossible amount of them being sold by the same 30 odd sellers, until one complains that it was an american model, it was refurbished poorly, this and tht was wrong with it, someone elses files were on it" - buyer keeps the phone and gets a refund. The same sellers pushing the Samsungs on Marketplace have iPhones listed too which I assume will be a Chinese model which are inferior, but I don't know/care enough about them to look into it yet.

Just stick to the ones I sell. Good price, support my family. F**k people and their families who do this s**t. I, wherever possible, go out of my way to source an original box and accessories and booklets.etc when selling a used or refurbished phone - it's a gesture that costs me nothing but it adds value.

At least if they're selling phones they're not writing trucks off.

Fake / Clone / Counterfeit Samsung S23 Ultra Phones - Don't get caught out. Don't get caught out, there's a number of these fakes circulating now. Please make sure even if it's a sealed phone you review my comparison of the packaging further down just to be sure. Even then to avoid being scammed always ask for the device...

Anyone need phone parts before I put an order in?

Screens, ports, batteries, back covers, cases, cables, whatever? You've got 1:30.

I generally charge parts + $50 to fit it if you're not doing it yourself, unless it's a big job.

21/06/2023

I was going to write a big long post about this but.

IPHONE ICLOUD UNLOCK IS NOW AVAILABLE. Permanent, not temporary. Find my iPhone off, as if it's a brand new one.

The process takes about an hour and I am assisting my friend in the Middle Easylt who starts at 12am, so it will either be a mail in or an overnight visit.

We are the first people in Australia offering the permanent unlock solution, others were bypassing the iCloud lock screen and when you factory reset it asked for the last person's password.

For Sale;

Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra (4G), not the 5G.

-Mystic Black
-8GB RAM
-256GB Storage
-Dual SIM and MicroSD card. It accepts eSIMs and the SD card takes up a SIM slot - either way you can always have 2 SIMs
-S Pen
-Android 13 (Australia, Unbranded version with no bloatware) with latest 2023 security update.
-Australia and Globally SIM unlocked.

The one, tiny, major flaw is the tiny black dot at the edge of the screen. It has no affect on the usability and isn't noticeable, and certainly not replacing the LCD when they're still $370+.

Reason for sale: I sell phones. If I kept this one it would fall out of my pocket getting out of the car within a week.

Includes: Phone only. I have a box but it's for a Bronze one and I need it. I can include a USB-C charging cable.

Available: Now. Post or public pickup by appointment in Churchill.

Postage: $9.70 regular, $12.70 express.

Payment methods: Cash, PayID or Electronic Funds Transfer, PayPal Friends and Family. I can also accept Card payment via my Square POS machine.

Not particularly interested in trades, but damaged or faulty phones I am chasing: Note 20 Ultra 5G, S21 Ultra, S22 Plus, S22 Ultra, Google Pixel 5 or above plus cash my way.

I've got watches.

Galaxy Watch 4 Classic 46mm Black - $270
Galaxy Watch 4 Classic 42mm Silver/Grey - $250
Galaxy Watch 4 40mm - $220
Galaxy Watch 3 45mm - $180

Galaxy Watch Active 2 44mm - $155
Galaxy Watch Active 2 40mm - $140 x2

Coming soon: Galaxy Watch 5 Pro 45mm.

All are as new condition. They were Live Demo Unit models (display models that run demo software) which have had their software replaced with a standard Australian retail version so they operate exactly as you'd find them on the shelf, so they work with Samsung Pay.etc. They have never been on display and were excess stock from a major Australian retailer. They are all the WiFi/Bluetooth models - no cellular capabilities.

They do not come in retail packaging and are sold with a USB magnet charger. Some of them come in a plain white Samsung branded box.

I have an excess iPhone 11 Pro Max screen available. Brand new and unused. 12 month warranty on the unit. If you've got a busted 11 Pro Max it's yours for $125 installed.

I'm sure you all remember when the Federal Police and the FBI designed some encrypted Android phones that had a back door in them, so all the data was intercepted after they were distributed to criminals for outrageous amounts of money.

I don't like any of that, so I'm going to be selling completely secure phones based on the Android Open Source Project. Details of some really cool and important features in the comments.

If you are on a budget you can go for as low as something in the refurbished Galaxy S8 variety. Otherwise the weapon of choice is a Google Pixel. More details will come soon.

Note: these are completely legal to produce, own and be in possession of. What we are talking about here is a highly specialized and secure version of Android on a very standard looking mobile phone. What you're doing with that phone or what is being stored on there is your business and you have a right to that privacy.

(P,hotos of a Galaxy S8 which runs it perfectly)
