We all face pressures and responsibilities in our daily lives, but when our club members, our children’s teammates, or kids in our community are going through health struggles, it's important for us to come together and offer our support.
Isaac and his family are going through a challenging time as they battle a rare genetic disorder that causes tumors to grow on major organs of the body. As a community, we have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact. Let’s make a contribution towards shining a light on this condition and working towards a brighter future for those affected.
Your generosity and support can make a world of difference. Let's show Isaac and his family that they are not alone in this fight.

Imagine the joy of mothers and daughters sharing the soccer field, where each kick of the ball strengthens not just their bodies, but their bond. Playing soccer together transforms ordinary moments into cherished memories, fostering open communication and deepening the emotional connection between them.
In essence, playing soccer together is a wonderful way for mothers and daughters to enhance their physical health, emotional well-being, and relationship. It’s a delightful and effective means of nurturing a strong, supportive, and active relationship.
This was definitely captured last Sunday when our U12 girls and their mums took the pitch.

After a weeks rest our senior Women teams travel to Brunswick Zebras Football Club this Sunday.

Dedicated to Dave.
On a beautiful sunny day, our boys took on Lalor United at home in a crucial encounter.
Ryan came back into the starting 11 as did our VC Memz, replacing Taki and Cem, who chose to move on during the week unexpectedly and disappointingly.
We started like a house on fire. A corner taken by Connor was delivered with precision and our all time leading scorer, Jordan scored a superb header from 14 yards out that gave the keeper no chance.
Better was to come when an excellent move saw the ball played to Jordan who turned his marker and played through Ryan who cooly finished sending City 2-0 up with all the momentum.
Our skipper then played a great ball to Muna who took it beautifully but his effort was saved by the advancing GK.
Our backline were on top led by Sundy and was well supported by Sam whom was doing a brilliant job at marking. Danny and Haruki were proving hard to pe*****te and our young gun in Aidan was ably shielding the back 4 with the returning Memz.
To Lalors credit, they started to take the initiative and number 8 fired a shot and it bounced off the post.
They almost pulled one back when an excellent cross was met by the wide player forcing Ben into an excellent save at the near post.
We could have had a penalty when Muna was taken down in the box and with the assistant flagging for a spot kick, the ref waved play on.
Half time came and after an excellent opening we were 2nd best for the remaining 20 minutes in the half and the coaching team stressed the importance to come out positively.
We almost increased our lead when Connor played an excellent pass to Jordan who with the goal at his mercy saw the GK advance and closed down the space making an excellent save.
Lalor got a goal back via the penalty spot when the excellent number 8 was allegedly fouled. He took the resulting spot kick giving Ben no chance.
Would panic set in? Would we squander another lead like Uni Hill?
These boys are made of stern stuff and with Fragale giving some extra legs in the middle and Taki coming on for the excellent but tiring Ryan, our boys finished the strongest.
A great move saw Connor find Jordan who played through Muna and he did the rest sending us 3-1 up. Tomas then replaced Connor and he played a great ball to Taki who with a 1 on 1 with the GK, missed, when he should have scored.
No damage done as the 3 points were secured giving us our 4th win in the last 8 weeks.
“We deserved the win today and I thought our leaders stood up and set the scene and the rest followed. We are a work in progress and have continued in improve as the season is progressing. Super proud of them all and we know we have a long way to go to achieve our goal, and today further showed that we can compete at this level. People need to understand that this club has risen from State 5 and in a short space of time have had 3 promotions and we need to continue to evolve and improve” said coach Michael Loche

Round 13 SL2 NW
The 2-0 loss was disappointing, with the boys struggling for energy and focus. We saw only patches of fight and real football. Despite the result, we’re determined to learn and improve.
Next round, we’re bringing our work ethic and will to fight for each other. When we unite as a team, we are unstoppable.
Next week, 3 points are essential to keep our season on track.
