Just a update after my roll over im all good going to hospital to get a check over

Well today didn't go to plan for the 2023 NT Titles

Qualifying car was on point and we finished 4th fastest

Race 1 got a good start was running in 3rd before I made a mistake in turn one on lap two spinning out on turn one went back to 10th then was making my way back up to 6th before the timing belt snapped and has hurt the engine and put us out of the 2023 NT

Not my best weekend racing at the 2023 supercars in the Combined Sedans

Friday...

In practice we had a seal that failed and pumped oil all over the engine causing the cabin to fill full of smoke so pulled in and Dad ran to repco to get new seals and oil.

Qualifying we had another issue with a gear selector failure and had to do a run with only 3rd and 5th to qualify 16th out of 22 excel and 30th over all

In race 1 started out of 16th in excel and 30th got a good start made a few spot and a big crash between a few of the excels and that put us in 7th to finish under safety car with no green laps.

Saturday...

Race 2 started out of 7th had a good run and battles and finished 6th.

Sunday...

Race 3 started 6th had a good start was up to 5th going into turn one and was taken out and pushed a clip off the selector to then only have 3rd and 5th gears so we decided to put the car on the trailer and got a DNF

We ended up 9th in points out of 22 excels but wasn't the way we wanted to end the weekend.

2023 hyundai excel racing darwin, round 1 race 1

We finally found some speed this weekend!!

Recap on racing over the weekend for the round 1 of the 2023 season that was postponed.

Qualifying we finished up 2nd.

Race one started out of p2 and the whole race was an epic battle with Rossi Johnson Racing and a even epic finish with Rossi getting the win by .300 of a second!

Race 2 was a reverse grid so started out of p5 and pushed all the way up to 2nd.

Race 3 started p2 finished p1

Race 4 (final) started p1 finished p1

What a week for the Hi-Tec Oils Super Series!! Started off with having an oil leak in the new engine, then snapping a bolt on Thursday night! We had to make the call to put the old motor back in on the Friday.

On Sunday we had 2 qualifying sessions for race 1 and 2.

In qualifying 1 we finished P7 and in qualifying 2 we finished P3.

Race 1 started from P7 finished P4 24 laps
Race 2 started from P3 finished P3 24 laps
Race 3 started from P3 finished P5 22 laps
Race 4 started from P4 finished P4 16 laps

We had a strong engine just struggled with the setup with the car with a lot of understeer.

Thanks to Dad and Mum for their help over the long weekend, and helping with the engine swap. Having you're support meant a lot.

On the weekend was the last round of the 2022 NAMSC season

In qualifying we ended up p2

Race 1 had some bad luck with a clip coming off the shifter cable and lost 2nd and 4rd gear but still end up 4th.

Race 2 started 4th had a good run ended up 2nd.

And Race 3 started 2nd and ended backwards to 4th.

I would like to say a big thank you to all the officials for 2022, we wouldn't be racing without you guys, thanks!

Well that's a wrap for the 2022 Middys NT Titles
Coming home with 2nd in the NT for Excels. Was a good weekend racing with finding speed in the car to be battling for 1st position and to do the fastest laps in all 4 races

Well night one had some ups and downs

Race 1 was leading on the last lap when I had a little spin on the last corner and ended up 2nd

Race 2 was battling for the lead on the last lap when I breaked late into turn one and locked up the wheels and ran wide onto the dirt and ended up 2nd

Car was on fire tonight slowing finding some pace with the new controlled shocks
