Welcome back to 2 of our favourite Nepalese players: Anis and Dipesh who ended up taking out both the finals this Saturday 11 November.
Dipesh played really well to grab the $70 voucher for first place against stalwart Billy Wright $50 and Anis took out the concession comp after opponent Mike dropped the Black off his final yellow. ( Unfortunately no pics ) but definitely great having these boys back

Welcome to Saturdays happy pool comp at the Buffs Club in Stuart Park.

We normally start around 1:30 pm with best of 3 frames deciding the winner of each round.

World rules but sometimes pub rules for those not au fait with World Rules.( we believe in participation.)

First round losers get a repercharge comp that’s 1 frame per round.

To enter you need to be a Buffs Club social member(at least) as our prizes are in Voucher form that are credited to your membership card.

Most players participating are of A Reserve Grade standard but we welcome everyone be they A Grade or struggling to play Grade.

Everyone mostly has a good time.

If you want to argue or create a fuss then we would all prefer if you found a competition elsewhere.

We’ll Billy you’re proving too good time and time again. First once again with new player( to the competition) Pratyaksh coming in 2nd with another new attendee Anmol winning the repercharge.
Numbers have been a bit down lately but hopefully they will pick up.

Well it was our first comp back since I went away .
8 intrepid punters shrugged off their hangovers and turned up for some great pool. The final came down to Andy Page taking on boss man Noodle and proving too good for the pool playing Pasta. Repercharge winner was Paul, seen posing with Simpletons captain, Andy.

Pool comp Saturday 25th June is postponed for 1 week. Back the following Saturday 2nd July.

Former Federal minister Dave Tollner(L) was too good for Sandy(R) in today's final with Areeb Ahmed bringing up the rear by winning the Repercharge comp.
All in all it was a great afternoon of 8 ball with 18 contestants vying for a place in the record books.
See you all next Saturday for another round of what has always been a super event at the Buffs Club in Stuart Park.

Well done to everyone especially those who can lose with grace and dignity.

Unfortunately a player has made it clear that they are a sore loser and their actions in trying to besmirch the tournament director and belittle those who are only trying to play their best may see them removed from future competitions.

There is no place for such sad behaviour at the Buffs Club .

Well we finally hit 16 players and the competition was epic. There was a lot of cheering and good times had. Andy played Mali and triumphed in the final after reigning champ Max was bundled out in the quarters by Pints club, Lou. And Danny took out the Repercharge comp. Thanks to everyone that took part. Let's do it again next Saturday.

Congrats to Max once again taking out the 🎱 today. 2nd was yours truly and Andy Page: Captain of the Simpletons was the repercharge champion. Today was our biggest turnout with 12 players. See u all next week.

Just a reminder that the big prairie dogs are going to be back on the range this Saturday so sharpen your aim and senses small chipmunks cos the Big prize monsters are going to be back trying to take the food off us little squirrels
