When we lose a child, we need support. Support can come from family, friends, and the community. This can be in the form of sitting talking, sitting in silence, helping with day-to-day chores, just being there to listen, walking, to name a few. Our Reflection events are another way to be supported. They are an opportunity to connect with other members of the community who have been on a similar journey of grief and loss, whilst honoring the babies/children we hold in our hearts and not in our arms. Join Us for the Annual Walk to Remember Date: Sunday, July 7th, 2024 Time: Registration begins at 9.00am Location: Sanctuary Lakes, Gunn About the Event: We invite you to join us for our Annual Walk to Remember, which will mark the opening event for Bereaved Parents Awareness Month. This cherished occasion was established in 2010 by Taylah Peters in loving memory of her brother, Kaden. Taylah envisioned an event that would bring solace and joy to families navigating the challenging journey of grief. A Time for Reflection: This event is more than just a walk; it’s a heartfelt tribute to the precious lives of the children who remain forever in our hearts. Whether you’re a bereaved parent, a family member, or a friend, this is an opportunity to honor the memory of those who are deeply missed but never forgotten. Event Highlights: β€’ Children’s Entertainment: Fun-filled activities for the little ones, creating lasting memories. β€’ Bacon and Egg Breakfast: Start your morning off right with a delicious breakfast to fuel your walk. β€’ Poem Reading: A poignant moment to share words of comfort and remembrance. β€’ Bubble Release: Symbolic of our collective love and cherished memories floating heavenward. β€’ Reflection Time: Take a moment to pause, remember, and find solace amidst the serene beauty of Sanctuary Lakes. #ambernt #besideyouingrief #conversationsthatmatter #RememberingOurAngels #saytheirname #youarenotalone #neverforgotten #childlosssupport #ber
