We went to the povidore market today for a look it's a really nice space and has such huge potential to be similar to Salamanca market in Hobart, it just need more stalls that sell different high quality art and craft, they have heaps of food and a bar available. It has encouraged me to get started on some new work and hopefully have a stall, these things only continue with the support of the community and the people that make great products to sell, I believe this is and has huge potential for devonport and I think us makers should support it and give it a good crack at making it work

Been a while since I have posted anything due to life happening all at once certainly and not having a lot of time to create anything new physically but I have been mulling some new stuff around in my head to get started on soon so please stay tuned

been a busy day here carving out new Christmas designs , just keeping it pretty simple this year .
Its felt good to get some work done finally

Been a bit of a slog but I've finally made it back to the workshop to print something new, new stuff brewing now but might be too late for new Christmas designs now , always the way 😳

Been just thinking about starting a little art group where artists can meet at my work shop to create, talk, listen to music,share ideas, make a mess, meet new people, drink coffees and tea and maybe even collaborate

Local artist Gerry Jensen led 16 participants – many beginners, through the basics of acrylic painting last night at the Gallery. Unfortunately all remaining workshops are booked out, but watch this space for other opportunities to learn new skills.
