A favourite quote …

This is a quote I wrote for my book Life & Love in 2014. Its one of my favorites as it demonstrates to me the duality of life. And that we can be all of these things at once. Messy and imperfect and together and (never quite) perfect. I’m not sure I’ve ever before posted a big crying video but OMG the tom f**kery we’ve had to endure at various parts of this IVF / baby journey. And the emotional, physical and financial rides we’ve been on …. This morning hit and it hit hard. One day I will talk about it in more detail but not right now.

Thank you for all your kind, thoughtful, loving messages. I am fine. Fine is such a bland nothing word I know. But really, put into perspective, this is just one part of my story, my journey, my life. It’s a painful one. But it is just one part. There is so much else that I am grateful for. And so much else that is just so damn good and exciting right now. So do not worry. I have got this.

Its good and healthy to have a bit of a blubber every now and then. I thought I was getting the flu this morning but the tears washed that right away – silver linings hey!!. And I know that so many of you are experiencing hard things every single day – some of you share. Some of you don’t. If in some way my big ol blubber makes you feel less alone, then that in itself brings me a smile. Big love from me to you # # # L ❤️❤️❤️🥰

PS I am FINALLY onto Brigerton (a later bloomer – so I’m about to curl up and make my way through the rest of Season One – the perfect remedy on a chilly winters night # # #)
