At The Orange Box, we’re proud to be more than just a takeaway venue. We’re committed to sustainability and reducing our environmental impact. Here’s how we’re making a positive change:
1. Composting Over 95% of Our Waste:
Instead of sending food scraps and organic waste to landfills, we compost them! 🌱
By doing so, we contribute to healthier soil, reduce greenhouse gas emissions, and minimise landfill waste.
2. Closing the Loop:
Our composting efforts complete the cycle. Food waste becomes nutrient-rich compost, which then enriches the soil for future crops.
It’s a win-win for both the environment and our community. (That's why our garden grows so well🌳)
3. Eco-Friendly Packaging:
We use biodegradable and compostable packaging for our takeaway meals.
From containers to utensils, we’re minimised single-use plastics and opted for sustainable alternatives.
