Life is not all sunshine and roses, we all have our darker days where it all becomes too much. For many years I would push my feelings so deep down and hide what was going on. I would 'mask up' take care of and focus on everyone else because that made me feel something other than what I was actually feeling inside. Almost 7 year ago a Dr diagnosed me with PTSD. Almost 4 years ago a dr diagnosed me with Fibromyalgia....he believes was caused by my ongoing trauma. 2 years ago I saved someone who was trying to commit suicide while they threatened to slice me with the razor they were using and abused the sh*t out of me because I interrupted what they were doing and called ambulance and police to help them. I had a breakdown after (to the point Adrian was concerned about what I would do because he had never seen me so broken and he witnessed my original PTSD breakdown) Over the years I have become someone many people can't understand, I make myself fit into society because that makes most people I know comfortable. I will have those useless conversations (you know that one's that have no meaning on your life, gossip, judgement, mainstream media etc) because that makes everyone else comfortable. Socialising, being in large crowds or with people who are not like minded is purely exhausting to me sometimes and I literally have to prepare myself physically, mentally and emotionally to just people some days. This post is certainly not for anyone to give me sympathy but so you can understand who I am, so you can see the real and raw me and reasons why I am who I am. I am still learning that despite the work I have already put into healing there is always healing to be done. I want you to know that is it absof**kinglutely ok for you to have a sh*t day and want to have a breakdown, that holding that sh*t in is not healthy (trust me I know).
