A top of the table clash between LCU and FOB Club De Futebol kicked off the night. In a tightly contested game LCU took a slender 3-2 lead into the half time break. ‼⚽️MONDAY SENIOR COMP - R7 RECAP ⚽️‼
Division 1 -
Warra and Blues Bros played out an even contest with neither team able to break clear. With scores locked at 1-1 at half time the teams couldn’t be separated in the 2nd half both scoring 2 goals to end in a 3-3 draw. Aris Nichols was in the thick of it all night, netting 3 goals and picking up a yellow in a dynamic performance for the Warra crew.
Game 2 saw FC United have a comfortable win over Glizzy Squad. FC scored 8 unanswered goals in the 1st half with Zabi Nazari chalking up 4 of his own boot. The 2nd half was a much more even affair with Glizzy scoring 2 to FC United 3 to take all 3 points 11-2 on the night.
Game 3 had Super Stars taking on the in form Cojeks squad. Cojeks dominated from the first kick off and finish the half 6-1 up with Bradley Verrall on fire scoring a first half hatrick. With the pace out of the game in the 2nd half the Super Stars added 1 goal to Cojeks 3 with the game ending 9-3 at full-time.
The last game of the night saw 60Cal and Babylon Seniors play out a quality match with Babylon taking a slim lead into the half time break (2-1). 60 cal equalised early in the second half before both teams traded goals to be all tied up at 3-3 with 60 secs left. Both teams had chances to win it in the last minute with Babylon making the most of their opportunities to score in the last 10 secs and take the win.
Division 2 -
Div 2 saw Bungs Utd forfeit to Murder on Zidanes Floor (M) due to a number of players being ill.
Game 2 had Kevin FC against Zim Dollar in a high energy affair. ‼⚽️WEDNESDAY SENIOR COMP - R7 RECAP ⚽️‼
Division 1
Murder on Zidanes Floor and Mongols FC got Div 1 off to a flyer with Mongols taking 2-1 lead into half time. The second half saw Murders Henry Ellis in great form kicking 3 to take his personal tally to 4 for the game, however Mongols looked to have the game won scoring with 20 seconds to go to take a 5 -4 lead. A lapse in concentration for the resultant kick off allowed Murder to shoot from the restart, scoring from the centre circle with 4 secs on the clock to earn a 5-5 draw.
In game 2 Ba****os returned to their winning ways accounting for Blues Bros 11-5. The score didn’t tell the full story though as the first half was an even affair with Ba****os going in 4-3 up at half time before pooring on 7 to 2 in the second half with Marcus Boyles again being the destroyer with 6 of his own off that golden left foot.
Game 3 saw Los Betos and Caballos De Troya play an entertaining and skilled contest with quick feet being a feature of the play. The teams were locked at 3 all at the half before Los Betos imposed themselves on the contest in the 2nd half scoring 3 unanswered goals to take the point 6-3 on the night.
Division 2
GT Yungins and Live Laugh Love were both in good form for Game 1 with scores locked at 3-3 at half time. In a tight contest LLL made the most of their chances in the 2nd half scoring 2 unanswered goals to record a 5-3 win.
Game 2 saw LCU and Snail Park FC hit the court in an action packed affair. LCU were more clinical in front of goal putting away 3 to SPFC 1 to take a 2 goal lead into the half. Neither team was able to trouble the scorer in the second half despite multiple chances at both ends with LCU taking all 3 points.
We saved the best till last this week with. FOB De Futebol taking on Pathetico Madrid with both teams playing some quality futsal. The teams couldn’t be separated in the first half going in to the main break tied at 1-1. The 2nd half saw Omar Omran break the deadlock with a quality finish to put the FOB boys ahead with 5 mins to go. Despite their best efforts Pathetico couldn’t find the equaliser leaving FOB’s impressive run of wins intact.

DIVISION 1
Game 1 saw Super Stars take a forfeit win against Glizzy Squad. Game 2 had Cojeks take on 60Cal in entertaining encounter. The 1st half was a tight affair with Cojeks taking a 2-1 lead into half time. 60Cal ran out of steam in the second half and were unable to trouble the scorer with Cojeks running out a convincing 6-1 winner. Game 3 saw Babylon Seniors up against Warra Team. In an attacking first half Adam Neagle scored twice to give Babylon the advantage by one goal at the break. Both teams battled hard in the second half with Warra finding the net twice and holding Babylon scoreless to take the victory 3-2 on the night. In game 4 Blues Bros took on FC United in what was the game of the night. The game lived up to expectations with Michael Grabiec inspired with 3 goals to his own tally in the first half to take a 4-3 lead into the half. The second half was tight with FC Utd scoring 3 late goals to run out 8 – 4 winners on the night. New recruit Zabi Nazari scored 5 FC Utd in an eye catching performance and will be one to watch in the coming weeks.
DIVISION 2
Zim Dollar continued their impressive run defeating Immortan Joes 7-2 in a convincing win that shows they are the real deal this competition. Zim Dollars passing game was outstanding on the night and helpe and the Game 2 saw Donkeys score 3 in the first half and 3 in the second to defeat Pain in Diaz 6-3 in a quality hit out. Donkeys didn’t have it all their own way though, with PiD going goal for goal in the second half ensuring Donkeys had to work hard for the win. In game 3 Bocca Seniors and Murder on Zidanes Floor battled out a hotly contested game. After a slow start Murder turned up the heat in the second half to score 4 goals to Boca’s 3 but Bocas consistency on the night won through taking a deserved win 6-5. Game 4 saw Kevin FC take an early lead and were never headed cruising to a comfortable 7-3 win on the night.
⭐⚽ WEDNESDAY SENIOR COMP - ROUND 5 WRAP UP ⚽⭐
DIV 1 -
Our Division 1 comp was on fire last night with 3 quality games showcasing some great futsal.
The first game of the night was a game of two halves with ‘David et al’ getting the jump on Mongols FC to lead 4-1 at half-time. The second half saw Mongols find their mojo playing a quality passing game and piling on 4 goals without answer to take the win 5 – 4 win.
Game 2 was another high scoring and entertaining affair between Murder on Zidane’s Floor and Caballos De Troya with the later taking a 5-3 lead in to the half. In the second half Murder made the most of their chance and put 5 away and held Caballos to 1 goal to give the Murder squad an 8-6 win on the night.
In our last game the surprise packets of Div 1 Ba****os continued on their winning ways accounting for Los Betos 9 – 3. Marcus Boyles left foot was deadly on the night adding another 4 to his tally for the season.
DIV 2-
Pathetico Madrid dominated the opening game against GT Yungins FC controlling the game from start to finish to run out 9 – 2 winners.
Game 2 saw FOB Club De Futebol and Snail Park FC play out a tough and entertaining contest. In a battle of the defences neither team troubled the scorers in the first half mostly due to both keepers proving unbeatable for their respective teams. An injury to SPFC keeper just before half time allowed the FOB lads to take full advantage finally breaking the deadlock with 2 late second half goals to take the 3 pts on the night.
Our last game saw Live Laugh Love FC and LCU play out a tight contest. LLLFC had the better of the first half taking a 2-0 lead into the break but the LCU boys never say die attitude came through in the 2nd half, scoring 4 and holding LLLFC to 1 with the winner coming in the last 20 seconds of the game.
Check out some action shots below ⭐
⚽️ MONDAY SENIOR COMPETITION - RD5 WRAP UP ⚽️
Div 1 action saw Cojeks FC continue on their winning ways defeating Glizzy Squad 7 – 3. Cojeks didn’t have it all their own way though with the scores 2 -1 at half time before taking full advantage of their superior numbers and running over the top of an undermanned Glizzy Squad in the second half.
In game 2 FC United and Babylon Seniors played out a tight contest with the teams unable to separated after full time and the game ending in an entertaining 3-3 draw.
Blues Brothers took control of their contest early against Super Stars and were never headed in a dominant display, with the Blues crew piling on 7 goals in the second half to run out comfortable winners 11 -1 on the night.
In our final game of the night Warra Team showed their class controlling the game from start to finish and eventually running out 6 – 2 winners over a gallant 60Cal.
In Div 2 action Donkeys and Zim Dollar played some attractive futsal with Donkeys keeper having a blinder to help his team to a hard fought 4 – 2 victory.
Our second game of the evening saw Kevin FC and Boca Seniors play some quality futsal in what was a 12 goal thriller. Both teams had the chance the win it late but the siren beat them and both had to be content with a 6 – 6 draw.
In game 3 Immortan Joes took the points over a depleted Bungs United who will no doubt bounce back when they get their usual squad back next round.
Our last game of the night saw Murder on Zidanes Floor and Pain in Diaz play out a hotly contested 3 – 3 draw. This game could have gone either way but in the end a draw was a fitting result.
