Today I got some of my girls baby toys out of storage ready for my granddaughter. Look what I found in my box of treasures..
Fisher Price sewing Basket .. complete with a tape measure that clicked when pushed in and out, beads, a bobbin that turns and clicks..and some sewing reels to carry around in the box.. there was a rattle the shape of scissors , but that is still missing in action. No doubt that will be in a different box still to be retrieved.

A big kid hooded towel for a birthday gift.. just needs the name on and it’s good to go..

These use a full size bath towel with a hood I made from another towel.
They fit kids from 2 - 10 ish.

All top stitched and ready to go..
These are size 5 but other sizes available also.
People ask why buy cotton lycra un**es vrs store bought.. well apart from being super cute, they are made from the same fabric as the clothing I make.. so they are..
Soft and comfy

*They have good recovery as the stretch is 4 way..
*I use a pattern that gives good coverage so no riding up.

*I use bands not elastic so no cutting in or gaping.
*They are top stitched to hold any seams flat with a triple zig zag that stretches with the fabric and dosent snap when stretches. See pic in comments.
*The girl knickers have a cotton lycra gusset for hygiene purposes and to encase any seams in the crotch.
*I now add a size tag only as asked by customers so they know what size to buy again, and to identify who’s knickers are who’s in the washing pile.. no large tag for comfort for those kids that have sensory issues..

And last of all.. they help me minimise fabric waste and landfill. I use all the small pieces to make them ( even though I could be sewing an item that I can charge more for in the same sew time). Hence the price. Others that sell un**es are charging $15 a pair.
