This SIMPLE but effective strategy works wonders and forces you to stay off your phone during bed time to give your eyes a rest from all that blue light. This will help you employ good sleeping habits.

A lot of the time we put others before ourselves ... why ?
For some people it is all they know, to put others first. Yes, it is good to be selfless and help other people out however at the end of the day they’re needs to be a line drawn in the sand.
You need to put yourself first and be a ‘tad’ selfish. How can you give the best version of yourself to others if you have not put in the time to grow and evolve mentally, socially spiritually and physically? You didn’t have the time? Were you helping and absorbing someone’s negative energy? Do you struggle with saying NO to things and people?
What about you? Invest time, invest your energy and your family friends and circle will notice. Not only will they notice but you will become ‘MORE’. More energetic, more happy, more creative, more driven and more purposeful.
Invest in YOU and watch YOUR world change the way you want it to!!

Training is all about getting into a habit and routine. If you dread going for a 45minute run then it will be very difficult to maintain this and turn it into a habit. Trick your mind by aiming for 1.5km each day. Fast and achievable. Soon enough this will turn into a habit. Try it today.

Pick two to try this week!
1. Have a green drink: put all of your fruit and veg into a blender and mix it together. This way your ensuring you get your daily fruit intake and it will give you a noticeable boost in energy
2. Find 5 minutes throughout the day and do a mindfulness mediation: Transcend Training recommends - a not for profit Australia company. However any app can be used to help guide you
3. Drink a glass of water upon waking: Our bodies loose a lot of water when we sleep. And if our brain is made up of 80% water - we want to ensure we hydrate it as soon as we wake. 4. 5 minutes of exercise upon waking: Doing 3-5 minutes of higher intensity movement in the morning helps boost your mood and productivity for the day. You can do star jumps, sit ups, push ups - anything to get your heart rate up!
5. Listen to a wellness podcast: go onto Spotify and click “Lifestyle and Health podcast” then take your pick! The Transcend Training team recommend Kwik Brain by - “bite sized brain habits for when your busy and on the go!”
6. Read a book for 10 minutes: Set some time away from your screens and aim for 10 minutes a day
