A very busy day today creating Victorian style wigs for a performer and her team. ❤️

Synthetic wigs are so different to real hair and are styled in a completely different way.🤩

12 hours work, unknotting, washing, building and styling them so they last through several shows.❤️

A bit like life really……it takes idea creation, planning, a solid foundation, preparation, faith in your talents, determination, and hard work to get where you are going within a given time frame. 🙏🏻🤩❤️

As I got older, I realized that it is actually a compliment and has nothing to do with me.🙏🏻🤩❤️

Harvey Dent - Two Face

I had great fun creating this look for Gavin’s 40th birthday yesterday.❤️

A fan of fancy dress, He has always wanted to be this character. ❤️

He grew his hair so I could chop off one side and create a burnt skull look.

A first for me as most guys don’t let me cut their hair off and put latex in it, which has to be cut out.

Gavin usually sports a number one or two length so he was totally cool.

I love creating characters and SFX makeup is my jam! 🤩❤️

I met her daughter Hermoine before the show who was actually listening to me speaking on another podcast recently, whilst travelling in the middle of nowhere in the Northern Territory! 🤩😆❤️

It was a beautiful moment doing their hair and makeup and catching up with these two sisters Sian and Kyah on the weekend for Sian’s engagement party.🥳❤️🤩

I met Sian when she was 5 and I had just moved to the Gold Coast.

Did the hair and makeup for both of them for their school formals, with Sian becoming my muse for a while.

I have been blessed to witness them grow into beautiful young women!🙏🏻🤩❤️

I just watched and enjoyed Damsel on Netflix with Milly Bobby Brown who once again slayed her role!

However, as a special effects makeup artist, the glaring continuity error at the end, with a massive chest burn switching from the right side of her chest to the left, leaves me speechless!

I’m not blaming the makeup dept here as there is no way this would be their fault. Sometimes images are flipped.

On my way home from a district 32 business breakfast this morning, where I learnt heaps and met some awesome people!

Popped into the pre - polling booth and had the pleasure of meeting and chatting with the deputy mayor Donna Gates!
