The Ritz, London.....synonymous with the rich and famous......beautiful pendant and earrings engraved with the Ritz logo.....(not we didn't steal them but found them in a little curio shop in London. ) Recycled and repurposed

Our 'Goth' selection inspired by our trip to Transylvania where we purchased cutlery from the market below Bran castle.
Transylvania is home to some of Europe's best-preserved medieval towns, most notably Brasov,featuring Old Saxon architecture and citadel ruins; Sibiu with its cobblestone streets and pastel-colored houses, and Sighisoara, adorned with a hilltop citadel, secret passageways and a 14th century clock tower. Visitors to Transylvania will also encounter stunning castles such Bran, near Brasov, - a Gothic fairy-tale structure, often associated with 15th century Walachian Prince Vlad Tepes, the inspiration for Bram Stoker's Dracula. While the connection with Vlad is tenuous, the deep bond of local villagers with the legend is not.

This piece was inspired by the many sea creatures we encountered. Namely, the Minke Whale, various Dolphins and Sea Lions, mainly off the coast of Scotland. Whale meanings and symbolism include magnificence, communication, music, protection, gratitude, wisdom, transformation, and psychic abilities. They are the subjects of mythology and folklore of seafaring people around the world. When whales communicate with each other, it has a musical quality to it. According to some stories, the firs harp was made from a whale’s bones because the bones had the vibrational magic of music in them.
