How this method of movement has truly and honestly changed me 👇🏼

1. When I tell people that around 18 years of age I couldn’t touch my toes, they never believe me. I am one of the most flexible people I know, and that has not been accomplished by yin yoga or hours of static stretching. It has been accomplished by active stretching, mobility exercises and everything else that comes with a consistent this practice. For me, flexibility in my body mirrors flexibility in my mind.

2. I have a great posture. This practice has helped with my confidence and I walk so much taller than I did before.

3. My body composition has changed completely. If I look at before and after pictures, I don’t recognise myself. My weight is the same, but my body looks completely different. I have muscles where I previously didn’t, and without going into too much detail, I feel beautiful.

4. I have great body awareness. I understand my own positioning, movements and sensations. I can perform a movement and tell you exactly what muscles I just used. I’m completely aware of different parts in my body and how they are functioning.

5. I can stand up for a long time (hours) without experiencing back pain.

6. I feel confident in my body’s ability to tackle different physical activities. I trust my body’s ability to lift its on weight, and I also know my body’s capacity to handle an activity. Before trying something new, I know how my body is going to perform with accuracy.

7. My body is resilient. Muscle memory is a real thing and I trust my ability to come back to my previous strength quickly if I were to take a break.

8. Mind and body connection comes easily to me. I’m always present in my body.

9. I feel confident in a bikini.
