Today I celebrated a year of my business. Although I have been a nail tech for around 18 months I finally found who I wanted to be and what I wanted my business to mean.
A year is an incredibly big deal for me considering December last year I chose to stop taking clients and was going to give up my business due to family issues.
I was blessed by my new family taking me in and allowing my business to flourish. I wouldn’t be here without them.
In a year I have achieved:
• a steady clientele
• beautiful friendships
• the ability to take a step back from my hospo job
• new certifications
• a full back to back week of formal clients
• faster service times
• perfected my detailed nail art
Today I celebrated with the girls who have been with me for the 365 days of this journey.
The girls who let me practice god awful acrylics and nail art and would tell me they’re amazing (we all knew they weren’t) and kept backing me to where I am now.
The girls who came to my course as models, the girls who let me do questionable things for content, I wouldn’t be here without them.
I am so incredibly grateful for each client I have had since the beginning and absolutely adore my new clients and the ones I have picked up along the way in between, it genuinely is the most rewarding feeling seeing you girls return for appointments and supporting my business.

For those who have not visited us at Gel’d by Jem, my name is Jemma Fitzpatrick.
I am a fully qualified nail technician specialising in Gel-X & Builder Gel (BIAB)

I have been doing nails since February ’22 and am soon about to celebrate a year of establishing

I am inspired by women’s confidence and want to create that every day in my work.
I personally am a Biab babe but adore my Gel-X girlies! Natural nail health is my passion and you can achieve this with both of my services I have to offer.
