The best thing about having a distillery is being able to use your own spirits to make great tasting, incredibly easy cocktails. Our Shiraz Gin Sling is the perfect example. Take 2 parts Against the Grain Shiraz Gin, 1 part #64 Vodka and add ice to the shaker and shake hard. Gently pour into your favourite cocktail glass, garnish with rose petals and there you have it, our Shiraz Gin Sling.....enjoy! Best of all our Shiraz Gin Sling is just $6.50 this Sunday from 3 to 530pm with live music from Dana Crowe and BBQ tapes to wind down the weekend at your local Distillery, Against the Grain.

Always great to find a new cocktail that you just have to put on the menu at Woodchoppers. Called Jungle Horizon, a blend of Thai gin, vermouth, yuzu and our fav blue butterfly pea. An incredibly refreshing cocktail perfect for our own Hinterland Horizon gin at Against the Grain Distillery. 🇹🇭🍹😀

Woodchoppers is changing things up. From 6 June we will now be open for Dinner Tuesday to Sunday nights from 5.30pm and Lunch Friday to Sunday from 12 noon. Against the Grain Distillery will be open Wednesday to Sunday from 12 noon to close with LIVE MUSIC back mid-June on Friday nights and Sunday Arvo Sessions. Our Winter Wheat Vodka is in the test fermenter ready to be distilled this week. We use Australian Joe Whites malted wheat from the Riverina, it makes the perfect winter style Vodka. Woodchoppers BBQ Smoke & Grill will be closed from Monday 18th to Thursday 21st October for the filming 🎬 of a new exciting Australian mini-series. Can't say much more as it is still a bit of a mystery......

Home made is still the best. At Woodchoppers we love to make all our great desserts in house we fresh ingredients and lots of love. Our delicious banana 🍌 ice cream for our Father’s Day Banoffee pie is churning away and tastes absolutely fabulous. Best of all since we make all our own desserts, not frozen from a packet, we know exactly what is in it - so for those with allergies we have you covered. Great food made in-house in Mudgeeraba.
