The Orchestra will present a Concert of Hot Roaring 20’s Dance Music with a touch of Swing. Such tunes as the Charlston, The Black Bottom, Caravan, Sing Sing Sing plus other great tunes from the 1920’s & 30’s. NEW DATE for New EMPIRE ORCHESTRA's Jazz Leagues May Performance
Our May performance for May 7th has been changed to Sunday May 21st due to double booking of the Parkview room.
Hope to see all our great supporters on the 21st. for an Afternoon of Great Jazz Music.

The New Empire Orchestra's next performance will be at The Central Coast Jazz League on Sunday 21st May 2pm to 5pm. Details are on the Poster. The Orchestra is really looking forward to performing again for the Jazz League who gave the Orchestra fantastic support back in 2010 when the orchestra was first established. We will be adding some of the great swing tunes from the 1930's to our repertoire for this performance as well as many of the great tunes from the Hot Jazz Era of the 1920's. The New Empire Orchestras next performance will be at the Newcastle Jazz Festival on Saturday 20th August @ the Newcastle Town Hall . We will do 2 sets 6.30pm to 7.30pm and 7.45pm to 8.45pm featuring the music of the Hot Dance Orchestras of the 1920's .
This is a very special gig for the Orchestra as the Newcstle Jazz Festival was the first festival the Orchestra performed at back in 2010. So get out your best 1920's outfit and grab your dancing shoes and let us take you back to the Roaring 20's .
The Festival runs from Friday 19th through to Sunday 21st and will feature Great Music over the weekend . See the poster attached for booking information . Tickets are available just for the Saturday night session or for whole weekend .
As many of our regular audience would know the RSL Auditorium is not available for our regular concerts while the Club is being re-built and a lack of suitable venues has made performing very difficult for us and other musical groups . Featuring many of the popular music of the Anzac era, this concert has proved very popular with our audiences in the past . Dont miss this opportunity

" MUSIC OF THE ANZACS"
The Orchestras next performance will be at Gosford RSL in our 4th Annual Music of the Anzacs concert featuring the music of the Anzac era. Let the New Empire Ballroom Orchestra take you back to the First Two decades of Last Century, in a Concert featuring Stirring Marches and memorable songs such as Pack up your Troubles in your Old Kit Bag, Alexanders Ragtime Band, It’s a long way to Tipperary Plus many many more.
This will be our last concert at the RSL as the auditorium will be unavailable during the Construction of the new Club.. We are looking forward to returning in 18 Months time to perform in the New Club Auditorium when it is finished.

The Orchestras next performance will be at the Steampunk & Victoriana Fair held at Goulburn Historic Water Works on Sunday 13th March . This is the Orchestras 4th appearance at the Steampunk Fair. We will do two sets of Music from the Ragtime and 1920's Hot Jazz Era. A great event with Great costumes and some hot Jazz Music . Below are pictures from past Steampunk events . Great to see this fantastic event back on after a 2 year gap because of covid 19 restrictions. Hope to see many of our friends there again this year.

The New Empire Orchestra will presents its annual Christmas Concert when it returns to the Gosford RSL on Saturday 18th December 2021 . It will be the Orchestras 6th Annual Christmas Concert and will feature many well loved Christmas songs with a few of the Orchestras favorite 1920's favorites . Concert details are on the poster .
