Love this quote!-
I'm autistic, which means everyone around me has a disorder,
that makes them say things they don't mean,
not care about structure,
fail to hyperfocus,
and creepily stare at me into my eyeballs,
And they think I'M the weird one...
Because there's more of them than there are of me.
- Chris Bonnello
Could not recommend the ASIST (Applied Su***de Intervention Skills Training) more. After a 2-day intensive, I've walked away with skills that have already been used since the training.
With that said, I'm always here to lend an ear and talk through any dark thoughts. You are not alone.
💥This Saturday - Gympie Gold Rush Festival from 2pm until late. We have market stalls, side show alley, live music, horse & cart rides, laser light show and more. Bring the family for a great afternoon/evening 😁

An exciting, new disability support program being offered on the Mooloolaba canals of the Sunshine Coast. Saltwater Eco Tours are offering disability-specific 1.5 hour trips on a regular basis - such an amazing idea!
Companion cards are accepted and self-managed and plan-managed NDIS funding is able to be used to cover costs.
From the first week of Term 3 our Early Childhood Intervention Educator Deb will be holding small group activities. They are suitable for 4-8 yo children.
On Wednesday afternoons, 3.30 to 4.30, there will be a Lego group - Let's Be Friends Lego.
On Thursday afternoons, again 3.30 to 4.30 - Let's Be Friends.
The aim of the group is to encourage social skills by doing activities that require sharing, turn taking, asking, helping, etc. i.e. playdough with buttons and sticks, etc to make creations, group collages or paintings to hang on the wall, puzzles, games, etc.
Join us for our new group activities!
