On Saturday Trace and I walked into Cape Raoul. Started off very foggy and heavy sea mist, but managed to clear for a while.
Picked up a new lense today Nikkor 28-75 2.8. Had a play as we walked home through the Botanical Gardens.

An early morning around 5.00 am to grab a few shots at Charlotte Plains bore camp ground. Amazing spot great hosts.

A few more pics from Old Andado Station in the NT. This staion was occupied in 1902 and the first homestead was built in 1922. there is a homestead which is frozen in time and has been left as it was when Molly Clarke lived there. Fully furnished, clothing etc. It is worth a look online as it is a remarkable place.
Sitting in Birdsville on Holidays exploring our beautiful country. This is the first Pic I have edited so far. This is an old Saddle shed build in 1902 at Old Andado Station approx 80km north of Mt Dare.

A couple of weeks ago we did the Tarn Shelf walk. It was an amazing place. The first part fo the walk went through a Pandani grove this species is only found in Tasmania. Here are some pics just from there.
These can range from a small shrub to a 12 metre tree and are amazing and a privilage to see and be amongst.
A big day walking into Duck Reach Power Station around the back way and a reasonably rough track in. This was started to be built around 1895. A few pics of the Power Station and the entrance to the bridge.
Found another old relic on a walk around the Huon Saturday. This was resting behind on old shed. Not much left of the old girl.

We found this old truck on Bruny Island. It was our Fathers truck who pain stakingly retsord this back in the late 70's early 80's now lies in peace.

Had a chance to go to Scotts Peak a couple of weeks ago. Here are some pics from my new Nikon Z6ii. Still got a lot to learn about it, but it was a beautiful day.

Thanks for liking my page. I started my Photographic journey about 4 years ago wanting to do the pics I took on holidays justice. I started with a Nikon beginners course and have attended a few more since. It is a continuous journey of learning.
