Multicultural Sports League (MCSL) has compered the 𝐅𝐈𝐑𝐒𝐓 𝐄𝐕𝐄𝐑 𝐓𝐚𝐬𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐚 𝐌𝐞𝐧’𝐬 𝐁𝐚𝐝𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐨𝐧 𝐓𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐧𝐚𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 at Southern Tasmanian Badminton Association (STBA) on 10th January, 2021! 🏸

The entire event was signified by phenomenal exhilaration and energy! 🤯 It provided us an opportunity to promote badminton to local people and created a legacy for the distinctive badminton community in Tasmania. It also showcased the very best diversion and inclusion in the sport and determined the champions in each of their disciplines.

Badminton is one of the most popular sport in the world with consistent high interests. 𝟔𝟒 𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐲𝐞𝐫𝐬 from all around the globe participated and marked the inception of fierce performance. 🌪 The weekend was marked with glorious vibes and astonishing moves.

However, our furious 𝟏𝟓 𝐁𝐮𝐥𝐥𝐬- 𝐇 𝐄 𝐓𝐡𝐢𝐬𝐚𝐫𝐚 and 𝐒𝐨𝐨𝐧 𝐑𝐞𝐚 𝐋𝐚𝐮 landed as the 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐦𝐩𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 for the 𝐓𝐀𝐒𝐌𝐀𝐍𝐈𝐀 𝐌𝐄𝐍’𝐒 𝐁𝐀𝐃𝐌𝐈𝐍𝐓𝐎𝐍 𝐓𝐎𝐔𝐍𝐀𝐌𝐄𝐍𝐓 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟏.🤩🏸

Badminton Ninjas Are you ready 🏸

The FIRST EVER 𝐓𝐚𝐬𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐚𝐧 𝐖𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐧’𝐬 𝐁𝐚𝐝𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐨𝐧 𝐓𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐧𝐚𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟎 🏸 was held on 6th of December and we are excited to share the huge success of the tournament with you all. 🎊 It is conspicuous from us that women are a vital component of our community and lives. Hence, MCSL wanted to spend the whole day celebrating the sacrifices and achievements of our women to this community! 🤗

A huge kudos to all of our 𝟏𝟔 𝐟𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐜 𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐩𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐬 👩 for making the event a triumph!! Not just from one country, we had players across the nations like China, India, Sri Lanka, Pakistan, Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia and many more to showcase the true meaning of diversity. Our participants have created a fun and healthy competition with some beautifully conditioned badminton game. 🤝 The special part is that some of our mothers have given a tough competition and reached the pinnacle of success. 👩‍👧

The highlight of the day was the battle between our 𝐅𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐬 𝐕𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐠 𝐑𝐚𝐬𝐚𝐯𝐨𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐀𝐦𝐧𝐚 𝐂𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐝𝐚𝐫𝐲. Both the participants showcased their best moves and smashes!! After a magnificent match, 𝐕𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐠 𝐑𝐚𝐬𝐚𝐯𝐨𝐧𝐠 𝐰𝐨𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐦𝐩𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩 and took home the gold medal and trophy. 🏅🎁 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐮𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 𝐭𝐨 𝐀𝐦𝐧𝐚 𝐂𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐝𝐚𝐫𝐲 for grabbing the silver medal.🥈 And that's not it, all the participants got a certificate for participation as well!!!

👩 It is with pleasure that we invite all the women for the 𝐓𝐚𝐬𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐚𝐧 𝐖𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐧’𝐬 𝐁𝐚𝐝𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐨𝐧 𝐓𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐧𝐚𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟎 organised by Multicultural Sports League (MCSL).

The tournament starts at 12:00 pm in the Southern Tasmanian Badminton Association. All qualifying matches along with semi-finals and final round for women’s singles and double will be played on 𝐃𝐞𝐜𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝟔, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟎. 🏸

Badminton also known as Poona is the fastest racquet sport in the world—shuttles can reach speeds of over 200 miles per hour! The centre of attraction is that you don’t have to be supremely fit to start playing the game. So, let’s 𝐒𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐞 𝐢𝐭, 𝐬𝐦𝐚𝐬𝐡 𝐢𝐭, 𝐰𝐢𝐧 𝐢𝐭 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐥𝐨𝐯𝐞 𝐢𝐭! 🏸

Two months of excellent performance and lots of energy, we have the 𝐂𝐇𝐀𝐌𝐏𝐈𝐎𝐍𝐒 of Super 10 Tape Ball Tournament 🏏- 𝐇𝐎𝐁𝐀𝐑𝐓 𝐓𝐇𝐔𝐍𝐃𝐄𝐑𝐒! 🏆

What a great turnout on a weekend evening, Hobart Thunders and Pak Eagles battled with their extraordinary and phenomenal collaboration. It was a very close game, but Hobart Thunders managed to win the tournament. 🤩

The team has presented an amazing and clinical performance. 🤝 The selfless sharing of the expertise and active involvement in the tournament have led to an amazing match. We compliment every one of you continue to accomplish and continue going in future. 😇

MCSL would like to take a minute to appreciate the fantastic 𝐒𝐮𝐩𝐞𝐫 𝟏𝟎 𝐓𝐚𝐩𝐞 𝐁𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐓𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐧𝐚𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 🤩 at Montrose Bay. It was a wonderful two months that we love to cherish. A heartfelt THANK YOU to all the team members who participated and made it a huge success. 🎊 Each member of the team has been so dedicated and passionate in competing. 🏏 Congratulations to all of the members, we would like to acknowledge your effort and talent. Everyone’s hard work and dedication are paid off today. The story of the indomitable tournament has added many feathers of success to the MCSL crown.🤝 Thank you to all our sponsors for the support and generosity.

After all the breathtaking tournaments Hobart Thunders and Pak Eagles were able to make their way to the Finals!! Both the teams showcased their best attitudes and outstanding performance but in a nail-biting final , 𝐇𝐎𝐁𝐀𝐑𝐓 𝐓𝐇𝐔𝐍𝐃𝐄𝐑𝐒 𝐰𝐨𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐓𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐧𝐚𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭! It was Stupendous! 🎊

The day came to an end with the prize distribution ceremony in which all the players of the winning team bagged a Gold Medal🥇, and the runners-up were received silver medals.🥈 Hobart Thunders Greens claimed the title of the champions and took home the splendid trophy.🏆

Once again, Congratulations Hobart Thunders!!!!🎊
