Anthony is off to Brisbane, after 2+ years of faithfully rolling bliss balls and cutting slices, and generally doing whatever was needed in the kitchen.

We'll miss you sir, and wish you all the best for the future.

And thanks for the company, the hard work, the great sense of humour and love for some classic music!

The whole range of Healthy Treats is now available for free delivery in Hobart (+15km from CBD), by our friends at 4lunch Hobart, along with their fully gluten-free Heat@Home range. We have combined resources to benefit from their delivery logistics and eCommerce setup, which has meant we've been able to reduce a lot of our pricing.

You'll notice lots of our product at www.4lunch.com.au is available (1) in larger packs and (2) in simpler packaging. The goal is to keep the price down as much as we can during this abnormal season. If you can't find your fave product, please ask!

Are you looking for gluten free meals during this rather abnormal season? Our friends at 4lunch Hobart have relaunched their website today as a home delivery service.

All meals on the site are gluten free, with free home delivery (minimum order $40) to most suburbs in Hobart.

They are currently adding all the Healthy Treats By Mrs Rees products to their delivery service. We'll let you know when that's ready. It's a good way to get your healthy treats without paying freight, especially if you're in isolation.

It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas is coming soon....

I’ve been a bit slack on the old social media posts lately. So to make up for it, here is a dodgy selfie sporting a fetching blue hair net. On the plus side...at least it covers up the grey hairs!

I'm going to do a little fundraising post tonight as there is now only one more day of Dry July to go and I've been participating.

As I did make use of a couple of golden tickets (there were 3 weeks of school holidays in there!!) I feel a bit of a fraud that it hasn't been completely dry. HOWEVER, I am really happy that I have significantly cut down my alcohol consumption and reset to a much healthier level of enjoyment!

I know there are lots of fundraising links in our facebook feeds these days so any donations that come via my page are greatly appreciated. I'm pretty confident in saying that all of us are effected by cancer. Some have experienced it first hand. Some unfortunately will in the future. Some have lost loved ones to it. Some are supporting loved ones through treatment. Some know a friend who is going through it and not quite sure what they can do to help.

Any donation you are able to make will go towards improving the quality of life of cancer patients, their families and carers. It might be a lift to the hospital, a room to stay in, a comfier chair to sit in, a chocolate biscuit to enjoy if they can stomach it.

This afternoon’s delivery has me in the swirling mist of at ☕️ These lovely folk are now stocking our date and ginger biscuits and date and cacao balls. Both perfect snacks to go on the side of one of their excellent hot drinks or tuck in your backpack to enjoy on your bushwalk

We’ll be at Tarremah Steiner School soon with lots of treats!

It's not all about applications & fees.. there's another excellent reason to visit the City of Hobart offices on the corner of Davey & Elizabeth - their waste deposit facility, an HCC initiative to reduce landfill. Go check it out! And their collection of interesting books on the history of Hobart & kunyani. And comfy seats.
