As you know we only sell fresh seed, this means at a certain point I remove and replace all seeds, some are refreshed with 2024 seeds, other are removed from my website entirely.

Well, I have reached that point - for this week only I am offering a 20% off sale all existing seeds before I start the checking of dates and updating the website.

Autumn is a fun time in the garden. A lot of the bulbs are starting to flower, here are some photos we have taken in the past few weeks.

Earlier this year the Oxalis hirta 'Salmon' form sold like hot cakes. Here they are in flower in their sweet pink glory.

I have battled through COVID to finally finish updating my website with the bulb list for this season. Looking for Babiana, Oxalis, Narcissus... This is the place for it.

Three years ago we offered bulbs of Amarygias from our own breeding efforts. At the same time we planted about 200 of the seedlings from the 2019 crossings, This year we expected to see quite a few of them flower for the first time. What we didn't expect was for the first of these to flower about 2-3 months early, even though one of the parents was an Amaryllis that always flowers first every year. Yesterday I was weeding in the garden and this flower caught my eye, it's the first of this crop to flower for us.

Tigridias have always done well in our gardens and aside from being much loved by potoroos they have no pests or diseases.

It has been an unusually short flowering season this year for some of our Cyclamen. However the white form of Cyclamen persicum had distinguished itself.

I have been working on cleaning seeds and preparing for adding in new seeds for 2024. It’s a just that requires patience and many breaks.

I finally have a little time to catch up on the complexities of merging Facebook with a website. I have given up for today. During a break I took a walk around admiring my flowers.

Soon there will be new seeds and bulbs loaded on the website.

We have taken an active interest in the genus Massonia for a couple of years, we have found them easy to germinate and grow. They together with many of the flora of southern Africa are great for our climate with our hot and dry Summer.

Welcome to Seed and Bulb Treasures. The name may change, but the supply of fresh unusual or just lovely seeds and bulbs will continue. It will take some time to sort this mess, I have faced much worse challenges and persevered!
