International Archives Day 2024
It's International Archives Day on Sunday 9 June. Tasmania is lucky to have a world-class archives facility with 23.5 kilometres of records, volumes, objects and audio visual items.
It opened just over a year ago, with highlights featured in this video.
The Tasmanian Archives attracts researchers and cultural tourists from around the world to see the collection first-hand, which includes internationally renowned Convict Records, which hold UNESCO Memory of the World status.
