1. Where is it?
It is in Hobart Central = inner city. Exact details will be revealed to the tix holders. Privacy = extra security, as we are not taking walk-ins.

First act: a solo/duo act of emerging jazz muso(s) TBC!

Second act: Billy Whitton and Nadira, playing popular jazz and some blues

Third act: JB Quintet, playing tribute to Charlie Parker & Dizzy Gillespie.

WHAT'S NEXT THEN??!! I hear you say?

1. ‼️ SAVE THE DATE FOR THE NEXT ONE, Sat, 17 Aug ‼️

2. For the next one there will be 2 x time slots and 2 x bands. The 2 x bands will be playing 1 x set at each time slot
Matinee show - 2-430pm
Evening show - 530-8pm

3. WHERE IS IT?? As the first one, the exact address will only be revealed to the ticket holders. I can assure you that the location will always be in Central Hobart (Hobart CBD, WeHo, NoHo, or SoHo).

For the next one, as soon as you buy your ticket, the address will be shown on the ticket. I am asking you please to respect my request and not to reveal the exact location to anyone who is not attending. This is purely for extra safety precaution.

4. Is it BYO? NO! There will be a licensed bar as the first one.

5. How do I pay for drinks etc on the day/night of the show? There will be a CREDIT CARD facility (unlike the first one).

Welcome to "Now's The Time" Pop Up Jazz Club 😁

We are (we'd like to think that we are anyway 🤣) the newest, hottest, not-for-profit Pop Up Jazz Club in Nipaluna / Hobart, lutruwita / Tasmania, Australia.

We aim to showcase the hottest live jazz of various sub-genres in a safe and fun environment for all.

Here's some of our values:

* Musicians are valued, respected, and paid accordingly.
We strive to pay our musicians as per MEAA recommendation

* Provide a space where aspiring musicians can learn from their "seniors" (and eventually, in the near future, provide regular time slots for jam sessions)

* Encourage and foster a sense of community amongst jazz musos and jazz fans/supporters

* To warmly welcome everyone in a fun space where everyone feels safe to be themselves

We have successfully wrapped up our Inaugural Show on Sat, 18 May. A SOLD OUT show, featuring 4 x AMAAAZING bands (pictured below).
