Honda CR250 86. Rear shock. We originally just thought the shock needed a bump stock replaced, but on further inspection we noticed that the shock body was worn out. Pulled apart, machined the body to suit new seal head. Rebuilt shock with new seals, oil and re gassed. Good as new again.
Crankcase cover had a worn kick start shaft hole, we machined out the hole to make it round and true, machined up a sleeve, installed sleeve, re machined to suit the spline in the kick start shaft.
So the TM125 lives again. After we pulled it completely down (as per previous post), We completely rebuilt the bottom and top ends, we got the bore recoated, rebuilt the crank with new rod, replaced piston, rings, seals bearings etc in the bottom and top ends. Rebuilt both front and rear suspension. Replaced swing arm linkage bearings, chain and sprockets. Replaced all new plastics (with genuine TM plastics), Replaced seat cover. Just waiting for the new sticker kit to come and she will look as good as new. Super happy at how this turned out.

New Year (Happy New Year!) new project. This TM125 2015 model came to us in bits.... literally in box's. We found that the crank was ummm FUBAR. The cases weren't much better, where someone hadn't done up the mounting bolts correctly wearing the holes making the engine loose. We have welded and re machined the holes. Now onto the gearbox, have found so far 1st gear and 2nd gear worn out, 3rd gear the case hardening has gone and is cracked. That's it for now updates to come.
We don't just do old vintage bikes, we work on pretty much anything. Please do not hesitate to contact at Corkhead Racing or Dave 0404 828 748

1986 KTM Rear Shock Bearing replacement. The genuine bearing was NLA and was a non standard bearing size. We cleaned, vapour blasted and machined the linkage to accept a later model rear shock bearing. This goes to show, that don't just throw out your old parts, we can always try and repair/modify. This was all done in-house.
