One of our favourite projects at Lisa’s Lunches is the Lisa’s Letters of Love that we launched last year.

A few years ago the team at Ipswich palliative care asked us to supply some kind of gift to to the patients during national palliative care week.
After some thought I came up with the idea of cards inspired by Lisa’s love of writing cards.
We encourage our loved ones to write notes that will be a lasting memory after they are gone.

This is the 3rd year we have donated cards to 4G which are nicely being modelled by these two team members who were twinning.
We also gave donated cards to Logan Hospital palliative care this year too 🩷

🐣Easter Announcement 🐣

We will be closing for the easter weekend, meaning we will be closed as of Friday 29th of March, 2024, and reopen Tuesday 2nd of April, 2024. Please check your appointments and make sure to contact to office via 3812 1204 to rebook if you haven't already.

On more exciting news the easter egg competition will be drawn tomorrow! As you may know on the reception desk you can find a container filled with EASTER EGGS big and small. All you have to do is make a guess of how many eggs you think are in the container and the closest guess wins them all. Make sure to get in your last-minute guesses by commenting below, sending us a message or come down to the office.

🎄🎅🏼 Dr Lauren Brockie Psychology has now closed for the Christmas break. The office will re-open on Monday 22nd Jan 2024.

Admin will be available to answer calls/queries during this time.

This time of year can be difficult for friends and family - please keep an eye on your loved ones, offer a cuppa, a listening ear or some practical support and if necessary provide assistance reaching out to their GP, local hospital or these support services below.

Hi everyone, just wanted to say a big thank you from Ipswich Therapy Centre for voting in the Ipswich Christmas Lights Competition. We are so grateful for all the support. We are proud to say we did win a lucky entrant prize donated by Pet Mince Direct!
Best believe we have already started planning for next year and are aiming for bigger and better!

Great new opportunities are ahead. In the new year, Ipswich Therapy Centre will be starting a Public Transport and Social Group! This will give you a safe supportive space to gain confidence using public transport. Check out our flyer for more information!

Support Groups If you or someone you provide care for have been diagnosed with Motor Neurone Disease (MND) you are welcome to join our free support group meetings to connect with others in a similar for situation for peer support, learning and sharing.
