I went back to my surgeon this afternoon. I don’t have to see him for another 12 months. I’m so happy that I’m out the other end and getting on with life again.

Yesterday was the last time the Physio will be coming to check on my hip and my exercises. It’s been seven weeks since I had my hip replacement and my hip is doing really well apart from a slight problem with the wound, which I think is getting better. 

So next week I hope to be able to start walking our fur kids as I’ve been walking by myself this week and having no real dramas. I’m so glad that I’m out the other end of this.👍

Now I’m on my third lot of antibiotics for my hip wound, with a fourth lot to continue on with, hopefully after that I will be healed and infection free😀😀

Yesterday I had to go back to my surgeon as my wound had not healed in one small area.

He removed a small bit of stitch material and put me on antibiotics again..fingers crossed that it heals up nicely 🤞

My watch has been found….so happy….

We went to Aldi and got some thermal underwear as it’s on special I wish I could show you pics of us in them you’d p*e yourself laughing we did🤣🤣

I managed to lose my Fitbit watch we looked everywhere for it, the band must have come undone some how, some where…

I’m four weeks post hip replacement surgery…
The wound is still a bit open but really only very small and oozing a bit.
I tried to cut my pain meds in half, that was a stupid thing to do, so back on the full strength again.
I can now use one crutch inside the house and was managing without it in the kitchen however now I’m back to needing the one crutch in the kitchen.
I told my Physio I was doing well and happy with where I am, but that all changed Friday night and since then I’ve taken a step backwards…I’m hoping that’s short lived and I can get back to feeling better soon 🤔

Yesterday was not a good day. I could not get up without feeling like I was going to pass out. I’m hoping today is better.
