Some gentle reminders for you to roll into the new week with ♥️
Neurofeedback is a cutting-edge training method that teaches the brain how to produce more normalized brain wave patterns by creating new neuroplastic connections. As brain waves normalize, the patient’s brain is better able to regulate itself and many of the symptoms the client is experiencing begin to diminish and fade away.
Some of the conditions in which Neurofeedback has demonstrated efficacy include:
• Anxiety
• Depression
• Stress
• Memory Loss
• Poor Sleep
• ADHD
• PTSD
Peak Performance
• Substance Use Disorder

Shedding Some Light Into
PTSD
PTSD occurs when a sudden event traumatizes the individual (whether it be repeated abuse or
an injury on the battlefield).
•
The resultant symptoms are frequent intrusive images, a quick startle response, the inability to relax, difficulty sleeping, trauma dreams, substance abuse, relational problems, and mood problems.
•
When you’ve been subject to trauma, your brain is immediately conditioned to prepare it for the next event. There is an persistent overarousal in the sympathetic nervous system (fight, flight or freeze) paired with an inability to relax, self sooth, and rest.
•
Very often this hypervigilance presents as an excessive fast EEG pattern, and can be coupled with the hallmarks of a traumatic experience, excessive slow wave forms (delta and theta) representing realms of unprocessed, unconscious trauma. The hypervigilance arrives in response to the slower waves, and we have the profile of PTSD.
•
PTSD responds well to neurotherapy. By addressing the physiology of the symptom, we are able to address the physics behind the conditioned response. •
After a number of sessions, it is
common our clients experience a reduction in the disturbing symptoms of PTSD, becoming able to resume a normal life.
•
This speeds up treatment tremendously because the stimulation puts the brain into a state of neuroplasticity. This causes rapid change to the emotional associations of the memory.

Growth, just like healing, takes time and dedication.
The more self-awareness we gain, the more we understand our connection to the world around us, and the more we develop our sense of self: that’s the recipe for growth.
Rewiring your brain with positive self-talk = the most valuable growth of all 💛
R-E-W-I-R-I-N-G.
I have been undergoing neuro therapy treatments since February for brain optimization due to childhood trauma. I had an initial QEEG followed by 10 neuro therapy treatments.
Today was my first QEEG update since we began treatment September 5th.
When we started treatments I had A LOT of “abreactions” surface. Abreaction is the expression & consequent release of previously repressed emotion stored in the body on a cellular level.
Through the release I relived the experiences of my abuse.
So basically I relived my trauma, it was scary AF but it didn’t kill me. 😊.
I have learned to look at these experiences as just blocked energy releasing from my body. Without understanding of what is going on it certainly could be re-traumatizing.
The abreactions were so intense initially they would come on like a seizure. I would be on the ground, hyperventilating, screaming and shaking uncontrollably from head to toe. My husband was with me through these times and was able to be a loving presence and support.
So we had to dial back the amount of visits per week for neuro therapy. SO important your therapist knows what he is doing with repressed trauma! Slow and easy.
Here is some of the exciting results after only 5 weeks. 🧠My sleep has improved tremendously.
🧠”Blue brain” (from the trauma) has optimized tremendously, where my scans were blue almost all has changed to green with optimization.
🧠Brain fog is lifting but we do have work to do yet with cognitive and executive functioning.
🧠Improvement in inflammation.
🧠Another interesting fact that showed up on my scan is my detox. I am currently doing a big detox for my gut health. I had baffled my doctor, he thought maybe I had gone on a sugar binge.
Once I told him what I was doing he said it made sense.
It showed up on my brain scan, he said my detox was doing its job! I find that fascinating that it showed in my brain scan. “Gut - 🧠-Connection”
Loving ME, with a whole new level of respect and appreciation!
NEUROTHERAPY TRAINING AND THE BRAIN
Neurotherapy, or Brain Training, is a concentrated way of training the brain. It works mainly through the use of sound and visual signals to train the brain to think more productively and independently.
When this type of brain stimulation happens, functions such as memory and emotional balance are improved and eventually restored in some cases. There are different parts of the brain with activity. It is here that through brain mapping we can observe and implement a program to increase and decrease the stimulation, depending upon the symptoms that the person has.
Common ailments treated through brain training are:
- ADD
- ADHD
- anxiety
- PTSD - learning disabilities/ emotional/ developmental trauma
- depressions
- sleep disorders
- working memory such as concentration
- memory problems such as brain fog

🧠✨ How Neurotherapy Can Help with ADHD & Learning Disorders ✨🧠
Neurotherapy is an effective, natural way to support children and adults with ADHD and learning disorders by training the brain to function more efficiently. Here’s how it can make a difference:
🎯 Improves Focus & Attention – Neurotherapy targets brainwave patterns that influence attention, helping individuals stay focused, reduce distractions, and improve concentration.
🌀 Enhances Impulse Control – For those with ADHD, controlling impulsive behavior can be a challenge. Neurotherapy helps regulate the brain’s response, promoting better decision-making and self-control.
📚 Supports Learning & Memory – By optimizing brain function, neurotherapy can help improve information retention, processing speed, and overall academic performance in those with learning disorders.
😌 Reduces Hyperactivity & Restlessness – neurotherapy helps calm overactive brainwaves, leading to a decrease in hyperactivity and fidgeting, allowing for a more relaxed state of mind.
🌟 Boosts Emotional Regulation – Difficulty managing emotions is common with ADHD. Neurotherapy helps balance brain activity, leading to better mood control, reduced frustration, and fewer emotional outbursts.
Give your brain the support it needs to thrive! 🌿🧠

Brain Mapping is a term that describes a comprehensive assessment of brain function through computer assisted analysis of the EEG. Surface electrodes record brain wave signals which can be viewed on a computer screen and digitally stored for later analysis.
An electrode cap is used to ensure uniform placement of electrodes in an easy and comfortable manner.
The procedure takes about an hour and is non-invasive and painless. The resulting Quantitative Electroencephalograph, or QEEG, provides a remarkable and clinically useful picture of how the brain is working.

What is Neurotherapy?
Neurotherapy is a technique used to help correct mental health and physical health issues. It consists of using low level light therapy and/or neurofeedback on the body and head with electrode sensors. Clients frequently report increased relaxation, better emotional regulation and reduced inflammation and pain responses.
