If you’re going to Mardi Gras why not kick off the day with a run hosted by Sydney Frontrunners 👍

What better way to stay healthy than to walk, jog or run on a regular basis with a group of like minded people.

Come along any Monday or Thursday and be one of the 60 to 70 people a week who attend.

Its not only a good way to exercise but a great way to meet new people 👍

Our 25 year celebrations officially kicked off last night with a Cocktail party at the Wickham Hotel.

Why not come along and join the group and get involved in all the other celebration events we have planned for the year 🎉

What a great start to our 25 year celebrations with a barbecue attended by nearly 70 members and guests.

Cr Vicki Howard launched our commemorative tshirts and one of the founding members of Brisbane Frontrunners, Lindsay Bayne, was in attendance.

A big thanks to the Lord Mayor’s Community Fund for the grant to help fund the shirts 👍

Well 2024 has kicked off and we are gearing up for a great year to celebrate our 25th Anniversary.

Brisbane Frontrunners was formed in 1999 by 2 guys keen to start an LGBTIQ+ running and walking group In Brisbane.

We now have 152 registered members plus numerous casual attendees.

This year we will be holding several events to celebrate our anniversary so what better time to join us than now 👍

We have runners and walkers of all levels so there is always someone to run or walk with.

No membership fees. No attendance fees. Come along and have some fun 👍

Well 2023 has been a great year for Brisbane Frontrunners with an increase in membership and many of our runners and walkers participating in marathons and fun runs.

Next year, 2024, we celebrate 25 years since the group was started by 2 guys who were keen to get an LGBTIQ+ running group started in Brisbane.

To celebrate this milestone, we have planned a year of special events so now is the perfect time to come along and join the group and help us celebrate as well as staying fit and healthy.

Bridge to Brisbane is on this Sunday👍

Keep an eye out for our Brisbane Frontrunner teams in the 10km and 4.5km runs and walks.

This Saturday (Feb 18) New Farm parkrun will be hosting a Pride themed run/walk to coincide with WorldPride and to show our support to members of our parkrun community who identify as LGBTIQ+.
Please join us at 7am at New Farm Park and show that parkrun is inclusive an a safe space for everyone in our community.
You can show your support by wearing a shirt the matches one of the colours of the rainbow.

New Farm Park Run are having a special run on Saturday 18 February to celebrate World Pride thats being help in Sydney in February.
