Tomorrow is the big day, and we're thrilled to share our delightful menu:

🥦 Mixed Veggies and mixed Lentil Curry: A flavorful medley of garden-fresh vegetables and legumes, in a fragrant blend of spices.

🍲 Lentil Soup: A comforting bowl of hearty lentils, simmered with aromatic herbs and spices.

🥗 Quinoa Salad: A wholesome combination of quinoa, roasted pumpkin, greens, and plump sultanas, tossed with a delightful mix of herbs and spices.

🍚 Brown Rice: Nutty and wholesome, it is the perfect accompaniment to complement the flavors of the curry and lentil.

🍎 Apple Crumble: A classic dessert featuring tender, cinnamon-kissed apples topped with a golden crumble crust.

Today especially we are over the moon because we have made a partnership with the awesome people at the The Grain Grocer, they will donate some our the staple food we will be cooking for you 😻

A true family owned and run business, The Grain Grocer is Launceston’s specialist in bulk ingredients. Their unique self-serve dispenser system allows customers to buy as much or as little as they need to minimise food waste, and customers are encouraged to bring their own containers to minimise plastic waste as well 🥰

Hello everyone,

Launnie Community Kitchen is a new project that will start in July 2023 in different locations in Launceston, lutruwita, Tasmania 🤩🙌🏽 🧅 🥑

We share vegetarian pay-as-you-feel dinner cooked by volunteers with local ingredients once a month. We want to bring people together and create a safe and inclusive space for everyone. A place where people can feel they can talk about everything and create change together 🫘☕💬

Pay-as-you-feel means that you can contribute to the dinner with how much money you can and there is no minimum amount required.
The food will be collected from different community garderns and local project and shops around they city, so your contribution will make it possible for us to support them and create this events.
