Raking the arena after rain ☔️ is always my favourite for results. But did you know raking before rain helps the water drain off quicker as it has no holes or uneven surfaces to pool in.

We currently design and make 3 types of arena rakes:
🍊Orange- Bisalloy Arena Rake is our most popular rake. It is made of high-strength, abrasion-resistant, quenched and tempered steel plate. Suitable for sand, and crusher dust.

🍎Red- Standard Arena Rake is made of galvenised steel with mild steel blade. Suitable for sand and crusher dust.

🔆 Roller- The Fibre Arena Rake has tines, smudge blade and roller. Suitable for fibre and sand mixed surfaces.

Our arena rakes are specially designed to reach deep into corners and turn tightly around jumps.

Here are our two sand rakes. They are tough enough to work on crusher dust also.

♦️Red is our original standard rake.
🔸Orange is our upgraded Bisalloy rake.
Note, this orange rake has been fitted with an extended side arm for easy visibility when towed by a car.

The side trimming blade pictured here is perfect for pulling built up sand off the arena edges and blending it back to an all-over flat surface.
The handy side wheel means you can get right up to the edge and it will roll along evenly. Protecting your rake and edging from damage of accidentally hitting the side.

Are Tas Arena Rakes suitable for crusher dust? Yes! ✅

There are many arenas in Tasmania surfaced successfully with crusher dust, or as an interim before sand being added later.

Our rakes are solid and strong enough to withstand the abrasive nature of crusher dust. A smooth even surface is always going to make it easier going for your horse to achieve better performance.
