It is with very mixed emotions we are announcing our exit from Floss Boss.

Many back end details to the reasons behind this change but we are very excited for the new owners and the many delicious treats they will serve at the Footy!

We will have 2 last hoorays and the last one is the biggest ever!!!

Catch us this Friday at Dinner and a Movie, Launceston, a great initiative for Launceston that we are 100% behind and will continue to support as patrons when we are no longer vendors.

Catch us also Agfest Field Days, Tasmania, our biggest gig yet! We will have novelty slushie cups, authentic Frosty Boy Soft serve and of course our boutique hand made flavours of Fairy Floss!

Onwards and upwards for the Floss Boss team, if your in need of or know anyone that needs disability support or Nursing/Midwifery services with an absolute focus on the participant check us out at Engaged Support Services.

For those who don't know our origin story it started with what Mel thought was an off hand comment from Andy stating he thought we could do better than someone else we saw doing Fairy Floss at a market.

Fast forward 2 weeks and a Fairy Floss machine arrived on our doorstep followed by Mel's words 'ok well I guess we are doing this now' 😆😆

We have grown from a bright pink marquee to our beloved Flossy van and had many fun and not so fun moments including the most recent of 24L of ready to go slushie on the van floor 🤣🤪

We will miss the kids (and adults) faces when we present them with a Fairy Floss as big as their heads and we thank all of you for your support.

But first Agfest! We hope to see you all there!!

BeerFest Australia NYE 2022/3 was a huge night! Thankyou to all our customers!

Tomorrow and Saturday we will be at the Bridport Food Truck Park trialling our new premium Strawberry Daiquiri Slushie!

Exciting news, one of our most popular flosses (Rinbow Unicorn) has had a fruity upgrade!
Our customers know the flavour is Tuttifruity, but now each colour is a distinctly different fruity flavour!
Blue: Blueberry
Red: Strawberry

What a huge day/night it was for NYE 2022. We started with a very warm day for setup and that continued throughout the afternoon and evening.

The crowds were HUGE and everyone seemed to be having a great time. The fireworks display was simply amazing, thankyou .

The police were a great presence and despite all the gear they had to wear in that heat, they were happy and supportive. Thankyou Tasmania Police

We had the pleasure of providing slushies and non alcoholic stawberry daiquiris to kids and designated drivers which were well received to say the least.

Thankyou BeerFest Australia, Launceston Central City and all the other vendors we met.

But most of all Thankyou Launceston!!!!

As we were constantly busy from the time the gates opened till after midnight we didn't get any photos. If anyone took photos, please share them with us.

Here are some photos of the inside of the Floss bowl to give you an idea of how much floss was made, and the huge clean up we had to endure newyears day.

What a HUGE night it was last night at launceston's Carols by Candlelight held at the Country Club Casino Launceston. A HUGE THANKYOU goes out to the organising committee with thanks to all our customers who sometimes waited inline for excessive times, but we tried to keep up with demand as much as possible. We at FlossBoss hope everyone enjoyed their floss and slushies!!! Bring on New Years at Royal Park!

'The Boss' flew solo today at the Country Club Casino Launceston Staff Christmas Party while 'The Floss' celebrated his own staff Christmas party in Melbourne!

Always such a pleasure to be involved, an awesome bunch of people who really work hard to make a special event to celebrate their staff at Christmas.
