Couture Angel Pink Label (2011) dress with shoes and wings and doll available for separate purchase in-store. Dress has some light damage to tulle fabric. Doll has shortened/cut hair and a very light mark to right arm. Still a very lovely model muse as-is or for ooak.

I Can Be....Bride (2009) dress now in store. Redressed on the lovely Barbie Extra #3 doll.

This is Fashion Fever Teresa (2007) L3326 in original outfit.
I love this outfit...so rare for this pale mint green colour in the Barbie world too. The top is a tiny gold bolero jacket...so small it almost looks part of the dress. Its all finely detailed. Her hair has been shortened but retains original gold tinsel strands in twists at the front.

Life in the Dreamhouse Barbie (Y7437) has been redressed in this cute knitted and tasselled mod jumper from the vintage Miss Colleen Fashions line from the late 70s. If you're in Australia you probably have some of these fashions in your dolly stash....the quality and stitching feel like a cross between Barbie and Sindy items of the era. There are some great examples of the fashions from this doll line at JenJoys All Dolled Up blog...a big shout out to her and her amazing website that I keep finding so useful for dolls other than Barbie 💓 Link below:

I loved the hair on this doll...but it was in poor condition...it screamed makeover!
So this is Leopard Rainbow Hair Barbie after a haircut, nose-piercing, eye & lip repaint and redress. The leopard print on the shaved side is a colour change feature - the spots disappear with warmth 😎

Love this Barbie Extra. The pink mini plaits are fabulous! The Extras had a great variety of colours, body shapes and head moulds...but I totally prefer using them for redresses. The "Extra" should be for "Extra Individuality"....second photo is her as she came originally (not my photo).

Peaches 'N Cream Barbie #7926 - Original Outfit & Jewellery - Replica Belt - Mattel (1984)

I've spent most of my spare time restoring her outfit this week and hunting down jewellery. Honestly I spend more time on restorations on my for sale dolls than on my personal collection ones....just not enough time to go around. I just had to make a replica belt for her...she wouldn't have been complete with one. I did attempt a trip to Spotlight this week for a fabric hunt in a darker orange but there was no parking in the whole darn carpark! I made do with the darker orange from the underskirt of a damaged Peaches N Cream dress instead. Anyway, she was a pleasure to restore and she was always one of my childhood favorites and still feels very special.

Now available for sale in-store with full condition description. There is some wear and damage to the dress - after all it has had 40 years of play this year!

Original PALE PINK DRESS & JACKET from FASHION LUNCHEON #1656 (1966-1967). It has some damage and wear and I have done bear minimum restoration work to it for it to look presentable on display. I think it has a new lease of life on this Glam 2010 Fashionistas doll rebodied onto a (c) 1966 Barbie body!

My Scene Spring Break Barbie (2003). Original alternate dress and redressed with other My Scene clothing and accessories. Definitely looking like shes in holiday mode...wish I was there lol!

Pet Doctor Barbie (1996) wearing hearts & flowers dress and denim jacket. The 90s were an explosion of manufacturing for Barbie. So many doll were produced. I find this era doll so great to showcase your fashions for the (c)1966 body type. Get creative!

Blue to Blonde!
I finally completed this Barbie Extra reroot....I had two of these with the blue hair but one was a bit ratty. She actually has lovely green accents on her eyes so I thought maybe a honey blonde for something different.
I started months ago...got to the new middle part and it was left. Changing the original hair plugs is always fiddly. I added so many new plugs and boil washed the part 3 times before I was happy with the results. Will probably trim the legth a bit and maybe add lashes...but here she is next to the original blue for comparison. Both are redressed btw. What a difference colour makes!

Irish Barbie (1983)....I love her green eyes and brown hair on the Steffie face mould...she was totally worthy of a redress and is still in Irish green! I always wanted Sweet Roses PJ as a kid because of the brown hair on that cute kissing face...it just does it for me somehow...love her 😍 Plus green is totally my fav colour...not enough of it in the Barbie world 😙

I cant get enough of this skirt...i bought the Barbie Extra doll it came on just for this skirt....how iconic it is...and goes with practically everything...i want one for me...seriously!
Love it in warm pinks and relaxing blues on one of my private collection custom dolls...l love pink when its broken up a bit 😙

The lovely Happy Holidays Barbie #3533 (1989). She's missing her underskirt and hair accessories - but I think she looks more sophisticated showing a bit of leg! NOW IN-STORE!

The Happy Holidays series was released for Christmas in 1988 and ran for 20 years. Most years had the dolls available in Caucasian or African American versions.
In 1999 Mattel released Holiday Barbie (in black velvet), Millenium Princess, and Holiday Sisters. The dolls continued for a time in the classic (c)1966 body shape even though the new more natural waist Barbie era had begun. The dolls are now released with the model muse body shape.

They are all so lovely and remain a favorite for collectors!
