Check out our infographic to assist you with developing daily routines for your family.
Children thrive on routines. It also lets your children know what is important to your family. It strengthens beliefs and values and builds a sense of belonging and togetherness. Routines can also:
*Build skills and responsibility which is important as they develop over time
*Help children learn healthy routines and habits that will support them for life
*Reduces stress which assists with building healthy immune systems and reduces the likelihood for common illnesses
*Help children feel less anxious and sad during difficult times
So, how do we create warmth, care and positive attention in our families?
*Tell your child how much you love them
* Find opportunities to praise and tell your children how proud you are
*Smile and look into their eyes when you talk to them
* Show gratitude when they do kind things for you
* Create opportunities for special one to one time
