Hi Birdies , A quick story about today and a lesson learnt about facing your fears . I was doing a reiki about 5 minutes into starting I saw a huntsman spider on floor at head of the bed where I stand at the beginning and end of every session. I am terrified of them but couldn't stop session. So I'm keeping one eye on the long legged creepture and trying to do the reiki. The bed sheet brushed my foot at one stage and I'm like oh (insert expletive) is that the mumma spider. I was getting hot n panicky. 30 minutes locked in a room with my greatest fear but I kept going balancing my client who is totally oblivious to the monster in the room. Then I had to stand at the top of the bed , where it was making its camp. Breathing , breathing breathing. After what felt like hours, session was over, I couldn't wait to run from the room. Then it came to evicting the beast. Lovely Jordan from Whiteleaf Beauty Salon across the hall wasn't stepping foot across the threshold, until the eviction was complete.
