Peel touch are welcoming our juniors back this season!

The 10 weeks will consist of 2 weeks skills based and an 8 week mixed round robin competition.

Under 8 and 10 will play the modified TFA rules. And Under 12 will play the standard rules.

Possibility of opening a mixed under 15 if there is enough interest!

Grab your footy mates, cousins, neighbours, school friends and come play some fun touch footy!

Hello Peel Touch Community

I am stepping back from Peel Touch duties after 14 years on the commitee.

It has been a rollercoaster ride over the years maintaining and coordinating our competition through many challenges including player number fluctuations, referee shortages and covid, just to mention a few.

But through it all I have loved my time with Peel Touch, it has become my baby (that I am now happy and also a little sad at the same time to hand over), I have made lifelong friends and I have learnt so much.

A big thank you to Jaye, as well as the clubs stalwarts Leigh Webster and John Barron, who have always supported me and the competition along the way. And a huge thank you to all of our players, members, referees that I have had the pleasure of associating with over the years.

Lastly, I’d like you to all welcome the start of our new commitee… Lisa McCoy as President, Alex Wickliffe as Vice President, (well done ladies 🎉) along with support from Faron, Neil and of course Jaye is hanging in there to assist. I know the club is being handed over to very capable hands.

There is still some committee positions to fill, so please get in contact with Lisa if you are interested.

For me…it’s time to concentrate on some other things in life. I’m sure I’ll still see everyone around the traps.

We had a great AGM in April 2024 where we discussed how our season for 2023/2024 season went and how we can improve for adults and kids.

We had a motion of moving some new faces into some positions in the Committee and some older faces that everyone knows around to other positions.

Significantly, we would like to say a big thanks to Jaye for keeping the club going and providing a successful platform to our Newly appointed president Lisa.

As we move forward and into the 2024/2025 season we are looking new members that can bring fresh perspectives and energy to our committee. If you’re interested and want to have a chat, please reach out.

Reminder it’s our AGM tonight and we would love to see everyone down there to have some input on our great club!
