We miss this little guy.....😔. But happy for him that his future is set to make more Rainbow Lorikeets !!! Having lived with us for over a year, during COVID, we’ve been blessed to experience watching him return to the wild, with at least one mate!! 😜😜🥴🥴😊😊 We hear him singing out occasionally just saying hello and reminding us what a gift nature is. Coconut Juice, kernel and flesh were all a part of bringing him back to health. Hallelujah 🤎. It’s quite euphoric to know when a bird understands you ...... Many of our family and friends met “Birdie” - he was a real gift....🌺

The weather was kind to us and Dan @ Cairns City Council did it again! The community came out strongly supporting the call to do better for our environment. With food served in banana skins and fronds leaves. All the food stallies showed @innovation and intention, making you wonder why industries haven’t called for this kind of action before. Change brings forth new business😁 We’re such a creative species! And the band “Koahlition” got our vote yesterday bringing the crowd onto the dance floor with their funky beats. More....👏🏽👏🏽

On a recent trip back to the Torrest Straits it makes my heart sing to see culture continue to keep us rich and blessed.
