The Victorian Energy Upgrades (VEU) program is a Victorian government project that provides financial incentives for the installation of energy-efficient equipment by issuing Victorian Energy Efficiency Certificates. Since its start in 2009, the initiative has helped approximately 1.8 million homes and 100,000 companies improve the efficiency of their appliances and equipment.
The NSW Energy Savings Scheme (ESS) provides financial incentives to install, improve or replace energy savings equipment and appliances in NSW households and businesses. The ESS was established in 2009 under the Electricity Supply Act 1995 (the Act).
Who Is Eligible For the VEU and ESS Program?
Most retail businesses which sell food or drinks that are located in VIC and NSW are eligible to participate in the program and get financial incentives for energy-saving refrigerators.
