MY FAVE THING ABOUT DAVINES COLOURS 👇🏻

It mimics the natural dark and light hues in your hair! This means that even if I were to colour your hair with the darkest shade, it's going to appear as though it's your 'natural colour'.

PPD and other harmful chemicals in some other colour brands (especially box colour) can give your hair that harsh blanket appearance. The removal of these chemicals are what gives Davines colours that high quality, expensive, natural and shiny appearance 😍

One year ago today, I officially opened P12. I can’t believe how fast this year has flown by!

I’ve grown so much as a business owner and in my personal development over the past year. Although it’s been a lot of hard work and sacrifice, I wouldn’t change a single thing 🥹❤️

I wouldn’t be here today without the support of my amazing clients, team, family and friends. The energy in the salon is so positive and uplifting that coming to work hardly feels like a job. I appreciate every one of you!

I AM PASSIONATE ABOUT FOILS! 😍😍😍

The first time I ever had my hair coloured, at the age of 16, I had some blonde highlights put in. I genuinely believe that was the start of my passion for foils. I personally experienced striped foils, foils that weren’t lightened enough, hairdressers breaking my hair, and oddly placed foils... you name it.

This is why I’ve been so passionate about perfecting my foiling technique over the years - to give my clients the seamless blondes I always dreamed of and to ensure they leave the salon knowing they’ve received a high-quality colour service!

I am always growing and expanding my knowledge in colour and foiling, and I’m excited to bring that expertise into the salon so that YOU DON'T have to go through what I did all those years ago! 😆

Today my first ever employer Michelle came into the salon for a visit, OH the stories we have together! 😆

A teacher, mentor and friend - she definitely taught me a few lessons along the way! I'm so grateful that 12 years ago I walked into her salon knowing absolutely nothing about hair, yet she gave me the opportunity to grow and learn within her space. Saying goodbye to Hair by Steph 🥹😭🤍

Who knew saying goodbye to my business name for the past few years would give me the feels!!

I have officially decided to rebrand as Paradigm Twelve. As most of you may know, I recently opened a salon. It made sense to me at the time to keep 'Hair by Steph' and add 'Paradigm Twelve' as a second business name. After a few weeks of trialing I feel as though a total rebrand makes more sense.

Thanks again for the support through all these little milestones and changes!

Lighting is EVERYTHING! 💡

These two photos were taken a couple of minutes apart from eachother...

In the first picture the blonde is cooler and more true to tone, in the second my clients blonde looks a lot warmer. This is a great example of how lighting can effect how your blonde appears!

Sometimes it takes me a good few minutes to find the exact lighting and angle to capture my colours in their truest forms. I'm still trying to find my perfect photo 'spot' in the new salon. This might take a few weeks 😆🤞🏼

It feels like a dream to finally create a space of my own. I've sat in this salon countless times thinking about the road that has led me here - and how this is still only the beginning.
