We respect the calls of the ref and the opposition’s linesman and usually we agree and get on with the game. However….The big question is, how can the ref deem this as offside when he has a clear view? Even some of the opposition players were baffled by this. Took a 5 mins discussion with the opposition’s linesmen before calling it offside. Once the ball was struck, the other striker was way behind the last defender. @vicchurchesfootballassociation needs to do something with refs over relying on opposition linesmen. It is getting a bit out of hand and unfair. Many teams have addressed this for a number of years now. Yet nothing has been done. It is spoiling the beautiful game. Hope @vicchurchesfootballassociation can do something about this soon.
