Alright alright, it's true there are many many ways up the mountain. . But I think the most wonderful thing about the system of Reiki is that it can give us a very strong direct experience immediately. . Many years ago when I first started yoga, I was surprised to realise that the effects were immediate - I felt amazing even though I had practiced for a long time. That benefit was present every time I did it and only deepened over time. . Reiki is the same. Surprise! Suddenly you've shifted your state of being from where you were to WOAH here I am and this feels like wow!! You've made the train jump onto another track! What a cool trick. .
