SOMEONE HAS BROKEN INTO YOUR ACCOUNT AND KNOW YOUR PERSONAL DETAILS.

I don’t know this for sure, but the chances are quite high. So, now is a perfect time to review and update your online security.

Are you:
• Using one of the Worst Passwords of 2020. (According to Gizmodo).
• Using the same password(s) for a very long time.
• Using the same password across multiple web sites.

Those dirty thieves out there love it when you do this. So, let me give you some tips that can reduce the chance of getting hacked.

1) CHANGE YOUR PASSWORD. I assume you are reading this on Facebook. When was the last time you changed your Facebook password? If you can't remember then change it NOW.

2) Find a Password Manager to help you manage passwords. I personally use Keeper Security. But there are heaps of others for you to use. By using a Password Manager you only need to remember one password. That’s the one that lets you into the Password Manager. All the other passwords are individually random generated that and kept in the Password Manager. This way you can change your passwords for all your sites regularly.

3) Where possible use 2 Factor Authentication (2FA). 2FA uses another device such as your phone to provide additional security than just a password. Some sites provide you with a security check for your account with them.

I am offering a service to conduct a full personal security audit of you PC and Internet usage. In the Audit I will:
• Discuss with you your current approach to security.
• You and I will conduct a TeamViewer session to go through your PC, email and sites to review the current security checks.
• Provide you with a written review and recommendations for improving security. Until March 2021 this security audit is $75 (Normally $100).

“Surely any decent system would …..” - 365 Assist 14/10/2020

Over the years of managing system implementations customers have said to me “Surely any decent system would have this feature as standard functionality”. This emotional statement is usually said from the customers assumption. I would like to answer them in jest with, “This is system is indecent and don’t call me Shirley*”. The customer usually says it to me when they have identified a requirement and they believe that the requirement should be provided as part of the standard solution. [ 140 more words ]
