Couldn’t have said it better myself

Another impact to this "health emergency." This is just my take on things and it may not be accurate, so go crazy and fill in any missing parts.

There is this: "Qantas CEO Alan Joyce announces 2,500 Qantas and Jetstar employees will be stood down due to border closures." Plus I will add only knows how many small businesses - the backbone of our country, have been decimated.
= less taxpayers.

Then there is this: "COVID-19 lockdown relief payment available to Qld small businesses as state endures fourth lockdown".
= more debt that is burdened on the taxpayer.

Here's my point from a different perspective.

Consider this:
Australia's debt as a result of their disproportionate actions is $1 TN dollars and climbing.
- GST and income tax contribute about 53% of the treasury in AU.
- That's $38,461 (of the $1TN debt) for every Australian.
- But there are only 13.5 million taxpayers.
- That = $74,074 per taxpayer debt and climbing.
- To compound this issue, when jobs go down, there are fewer taxpayers, and those that lost their job tend to reign in their spending, meaning less GST. And those that are left to pick up the burden are likely to do the same because of uncertainty.

According to 2018 ABS data, public servant salaries are:

- Federal $21 billion
- State $119 billion
- Local $12.5 billion

Do you think this has decreased in 3 years? Do you think any of these have had salary decreases?

If you reduce taxpayers, and increase debt levels by printing money out of thin air (fiat currency) then you don't just risk inflation, you risk hyperinflation. The money they print comes from thin air (Bretton Woods, 1971). Yet if you default on your secured loan (house, car, boat), they take back your physical asset yet the money you borrowed for that asset came from thin air. How much longer can this cycle continue before the destruction of the economy and lives, all in the name of cases?

And here is their justification:

- COVID Deaths in Australia since 1/10/2020 = 39
- Average age of COVID deaths = 85 years
- Average age of life (m/f) - 83.5 years
- % of people who will die as a result of non-diagnosis, non-treatment, presenting for mental health = unknown. Some reports suggest it will be 5x as high as COVID.

Government continues to destroy Australia in the name of cases, not deaths. 39 people are reported to have died from COVID since 1/10/2020 of which 72% had comorbidities and the majority were at the end of life age bracket. But they will tell you it is the name of saving lives.

I am not an economist, but I follow and listen to those that live and breathe economics daily. This is going to cost Australia more than money.
