Auckland independent brewer Behemoth seeks $3m capital for expansion Auckland brewing company expands brewing under contract, export business.

Hey Chur Brewing fans, Heading across the ditch, let us do the heavy lifting for you on arrival!

Straight to Churly's Start your adventure in Auckland with some craft beer and a nose-to-tail feast.

It is with sadness that we have to announce that for the time being we are going to cease shipping our beers to Australia.

The challenge of having the Chur brand represent us in Australia has meant that when COVID has put a spanner in the works over the last year we are left with stock that has the wrong label on it for NZ or anywhere else in the world.

This is a decision we haven't taken lightly, but the shipping difficulties and delays we have faced has meant that stock is also sometimes not leaving in as fresher state as we would like and that is not what we want to offer our fans in Australia.

We would like to thank all our fans, all the awesome bottle store owners and their staff, as well as the team at our importer for their support.

This isn't forever and we are sure Chur/Behemoth will make it back to Australia for sale somehow in the future. In the interim jump on a plane and come see us in Auckland.

We won the annual NZIPA Challenge last night in Queenstown with Reeferendum Hop Hash and H**p Hazy IPA (try saying that after a couple!). So of this hazy and blazy goodness will be heading across the ditch in Chur Brewing format very soon. Big ups to Deep Creek, who brewed this beer for us and do an incredible job at turning our beery dreams into packaged reality.

Feeling like a heavy weight boxer at the moment currently holding NZeds Best Brewery (SOBA 2019), NZeds Best IPA (BGNZ 2019) and NZeds Best NZIPA (NZIPA Challenge 2020). Apart from this Covid business, we have had quite a good year! Thx for all your support for our Aussie Arm......Chur!

Now that is a pretty full mash tun! We aren't here to fornicate with arachnids. Brewing a hazy double today "That Hop Juice" will be available in Australia in about 6 weeks time in limited supply. Keep your eyes peeled!

Last night we were awarded "Champion National Brewery of New Zealand" for the 2nd year running by the New Zealand Society of Beer Advocates (SOBA). Voted on by over a thousand card carrying members, this is the pointy end of the awards spectrum (bit like an American Presidential Primary) and something we are amazingly proud of achieving two years in a row.
