We’ll be scoopin’ at the Sandy Village twilight markets this Saturday 3-8pm! Our truck will also be scoopin’ in our neon oasis 🍦

What started as a conversation one day at work evolved into a full business out the back of Electric Confetti. The beautiful space was formally a car park (which are rare as hens teeth in the village!) but the lush vintage-style tropical gardens and sun-bathed spots lent themselves to something greater than this. Why not ice-cream we thought! We looked around at newer style vans to park there and scoop, but being the daughter of an antique shop owner, Natalie wanted more personality, something that worked in the rustic space, and suited our neon decor. A good business pal Callum Preston had recently finished painting a 1976 Bedford truck for an exhibition. We contacted him to see if it was for sale, we were in luck! Next came the hard part… fitting it out with a kitchen off site, and then getting it into position. We worked with the builder over the winter months and finally she arrived to her destination a few weeks ago. We had a lot of fun getting the space ready. Most of the furniture, bar the pink tables, were sourced from gumtree and marketplace. We hope your enjoy the transition.
